FTC disclaimer on Amazon sites?

If you live in the UK but are using the US Amazon Associates program, do you need to have an FTC disclaimer on your site?

You are outside the FTC's jurisdiction, so technically they can't touch you, but I would always play on the side of caution for the sake of a couple of lines of text.

First off, I am not a lawyer, nor am I giving legal advice here.

My understanding to the power limit of this FTC rule is only valid
if you are in the States, including if your Website is hosted
    in the States.

It doesn't matter whether you are in the UK, or even in the
Middle East, as long as your website is hosted in the US,
then I think you have to abide to this FTC rule.

My host is Hostgator which i think is hosted in the US.

Can you just have a seperate page with the FTC disclaimer on or does the disclaimer need to be at the bottom of every page which you have a affiliate link on?

Again, I am not giving legal advice.

The way I see all of the top players do in this field,
is just to put up a seperate page with the FTC disclaimer,
I don't see them putting the disclaimer on every single page
      that they promote the product.

So, I think it would be suffice to just put up a seperate page as
the disclaimer which is linked to at the bottom of your page with
      the hypertext link.

P.S. Yes, Hostgator is hosted in the US.

Better safe than sorry as they say. I'd place the disclaimer.

Still plenty of sites that don't have an obvious disclaimer.

If your sites very basic it really only requires a few lines of text so you might as well do it anyway if you're concerned.
