I Have Paid off $60,000 in Debt Since May 2007 By Making Money Online!

I cannot believe it. In May 2007 I started off with $72,900 worth of debt and now I am down to $11,518.34! That is over $60k paid off! My goal was to pay it all off by April 2009 and to be honest with you I think I may reach my goal even sooner.

        That's fantastic, Amy.

When you're finally debt free, just be careful how loud you shout it. There may be leeches within earshot.

Have you got anything planned for the occasion? A well deserved family vacation perhaps?

Keep up the good work. You'll be setting new goals before you know it.

Amy, I remember when you posted about your goal when you started and I've checked your blog occasionally to see how you were doing. I knew you would succeed - because you were so determined to pay off that debt.

Early on I was impressed by a post you made (may have been on your blog) and realized just how dedicated you were - you posted that you would be gone a couple days but not to worry you'd be back quickly. Seems you had to go have a baby! Sure enough, you were back hard at work in no time.

What's the new goal once the debt is done?

After being almost homeless 6 years ago, I am now just $12,000 in debt that

Good for you Amy! It's amazing what one can accomplish when there are clearly defined goals.

I was in a similar situation when I started out in IM. When I first started, I wanted to make enough to pay for the cell phone bill each month.... by month 4 I had paid off a car loan.

Amy... I'm assuming by your comment about screaming "I'm Debt Free" you know what I mean when I say IM is treating me "better than I deserve".

I love your cash home goal. I share this goal. I believe you will definitely beat me to it in this regard. Although I do already own a property that has risen by 200% in value (from £100,000 to£300,000 - $450,000 - although it was $600,000 earlier this year due to pound strength hard to believe though it is). But I don't consider myself any credit for this property. It is a long story. I definitely share your goal and can relate to your circumstances.

Another one who shares your cash home goal here, and another one who has some idea of what it feels like where you've been and what it feels like to be headed in the opposite direction after experiencing it. It's amazing how quickly IM can haul you from the prospect of sinking forever into the manure heap and haul you into the rose bed if you're consistent about tackling the situation.

Well done to you for getting stuck in, and congratulations on your success!

    Hi Amy,

Like many others I remember your post about getting out of debt. I think what touched my heart the most was your absolute determination to accomplish your goal.

I think the 2nd thing is you did this while taking care of 4 young children and your Hubby. From reading your blog and your post here they didn't suffer from lack of attention or love from you.

Your patience for helping others is magnified by you teaching your Mother to do what you do. I now have purchased a membership for my son and his wife to study blogging under your membership.

Just one more thing and I'll shut up. I set my goal just about the time you did to get out of debt with IM. And now I'm reducing my debt each and every month. Focus is the name of the game.

A big thumbs up to you Amy girl. Keep us updated.
