Hello Forum Community,

I want to open up a topic that is dear to me because there doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to get what I need to get done.

I work a full time factory job and work on my online business as much as possible. Mix this with a wife, 3 children, our faithfulness to church, and other events and situations that arise in everyday life; I just seem to not have time!

Any suggestions on time management or want to share how you make time?

I would love the feedback.

Make a commitment. Whether it is one hour every morning or just 10 minutes. Put together a plan at first, then do as much as you can to work the plan until you start to see results. Just be consistent. If you can afford to put in 2 hours a week, then do, but if you can do more do more. Just make sure it is consistent.

I also find that I get much more done when I set deadlines (even when I miss them) and work in a quiet room with no distractions.

Another thing you can do if you can afford to is start outsourcing a little bit of the work. If you are strapped on time and you want to get some things done it is better to focus on easy projects that don't take long like submitting already written articles to directories or what have you.

You don't need a ton of cash to outsource, but if you can have a few articles written for you each week that will give you something to work with. You could also outsource other things to depending on which way you are going. I only use the article example because that is what I am most familiar with.

    Hope this helps.

I know it isn't easy Jeremy. I don't work (except for IM) but I do have 3 kids and I too just don't have enough hours in the day. But I do find that they days when I have less hours to work are probably my most productive days.

Perhaps you can set up a time management schedule where you set aside an hour each day or a couple of hours a week - depending on how much time you can spare for IM - and make sure that you stick to those hours and that you use those hours productively. When you start making money then you can start outsourcing which will help save you some time.
