What Should I Do If EZA Hates Me?

Hi fellow Warriors,

I've been involved in this training program and it involves mainly article marketing using EZA. Well, I wanted to go into this niche that I thought would be great. I wrote and submitted 4 articles, 2 articles each on 2 days. So I was not spamming EZA.

Previously, I've submitted some other articles that got approved quite quickly, within a few days. However, this time around my articles got rejected 3 times for excessive keywords. Now I just let my articles sit in my account until I can figure out what to do next.

So I'm trying to see what I did previously and currently that is causing this.

Hmm, let me see. The previous articles were all really written by me. These 4 articles, however, I used PLR materials. BUT I didn't use the original PLR. I made sure to change it 100% using Duprefreepro. Maybe this could be it?

Previous articles were all written in the music category but the current niche that I'm doing is in the stress management area. Maybe it's the category?

Or it could be EZA editors being more picky? I heard they're getting stricter and they have more editors. Could it be this?

Now my real question is what should I do if EZA hates me when all my marketing efforts are based around article marketing?

Please advise.
Thanks in advance for your valuable feedback.

Lydia

Submit elsewhere. That's your only alternative other than to bite your tongue and comply.

Lydia, I had an article with too many keywords recently at EZA, they told me I could have only one keyword per 100 words. I did that and have submitted 3 other articles the way they asked and have had no problem since.

        Lydia -

Think "LSA" - latent semantic analysis. Use your main keyword 3 times and use synonyms to fill in elsewhere. It can be difficult to find replacement terms in some niches but will satisfy EZA. The are stricter now than they used to be but not that hard to comply. Just edit and resubmit.

Lydia, EZA does not hate you

Just remember that they only let you have about a 1% keyword density. So, if you are writing a 300 word article, only use your keyword 3 times.

EZA provides and enormous amount of traffic so, it will be worth it to comply with their wishes and resubmit them to get the approval.

Try articlebase. Sometimes I cannot understand articles written by top articlebase authors. I think these authors translate articles from English to Greek and than back to English again for publishing in articlebase.

    Lydia,
EZA has added more editors recently to process articles more quickly and they are quite strict. But I figure that the pain of the rules is worth the grade you get from them, especially when they give you the expert tag and put your article on the first page!

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the advise. I didn't know they only allow 1% keyword density. OK, maybe that's the problem. I will try and re-do my articles and re-submit them again. I hope they will come through soon.

    Thanks warriors

    Lydia;

The time it takes to have a program re-write a short article, you could have written it yourself. Also when you write it yourself you are learning more about your niche and increasing your expertise in that niche.

So either pay a professional to write a quality new article or do it yourself. You will save yourself a lot of grief.

Well, I have noticed that they change the editors because I got rejected two articles for stupid reseans and when they don't have right, like the title doesn't specifically reflect the body of the article. I consider myself a person with a decent IQ, I know to write a damn article. I think the new editors don't have a clue about article marketing and why I spend my time to write an article and put it on their website...

This is their website and they do have rights to reject articles for whatever reasons they see fit. If a title doesn't reflect the article body then it isn't a stupid reason for rejection. Titles that don't reflect the article body are misleading to visitors looking for information and if visitors are misled then it reflects negatively on the website owners as well as the authors.

Rewrite. Excessive keywords and phrases are unnecessary and often spoil articles making them read unnaturally. Your main keyphrase in the title and the first and last paragraph should be enough. Then you can add different related keywords and phrases throughout but in a natural way and not repetitive. Always work keywords in naturally.

You should end up with far better articles that are easier to read and have more chances of being found in searches. Also higher quality articles are more likely to be republished on other websites and ezines gaining you a viral effect.

LOL one keyword per 100 words...

That forces us to write for the search engines instead of the people. It also makes the article sound ridiculous and unclear to the reader.

I had to do this a few times too but I may just forget about ezinearticle and just submit to the other sites that are reasonable.

I understand that they are bombarded with scammers, and guess they may not have time to read them all with a human being, but if your article can't get the idea across???

Maybe it could be the reason they gave you: excessive keywords.

Did you not click the link in the email they sent you rejecting your articles? That link takes you directly to the reason why your article was rejected. This is in the editorial guidelines section of their site.

I must admit, it is getting a little frustrating submitting to EA now with the stricter rules. BECAUSE... they pick up "mistakes" that aren't mistakes. I just received another rejection because my bio was done incorrectly. I compared every element in the bio with the guidelines they referred me to, and there is nothing wrong with it. It matches every single element in that rule. So I have no idea what the problem is and have resubmitted it. So now, the article is taking 5 days to approve, instead of the usual 2.

Keep in mind, I've been submitting there for several years now without problems. I know and obey the rules... at least, I thought so.

The best you can do is comply with their requests. Don't rewrite PLR (spin articles). Use the articles for a general idea of what to write, and then write from scratch. Don't keyword-jam. Choose the right category. If in doubt, click their links to read why your article was rejected and do your best to meet those guidelines.

    Hello fellow warriors,

Thanks to everyone for their advise.

I just want to clarify something. One or two people have mentioned that I used a tool to spin my articles. I think I didn't phrase it correctly. No, I did not use a spinner.

I just use the PLR articles to get the main ideas and then write in my own words. I then compare my article with the PLR article in Duprefreepro to make sure that it is 100% unique. Just thought to clarify this.

I can't stand the way spinners work. The end article usually turns out crappy. lol

Well I guess eza is being cranky but we'll see.

    Thanks everyone.

EZA has gotten a lot pickier lately. I submitted 10 articles this week. On the good advice of a Warrior, I changed my resource box from the typical blah blah blah bio to a continuation of the article. It read something like, "It's impossible to cover all the important points in this article, for the full scoop click here..."

According to the guy who suggested this, clicks increase by 40% and higher. Well, all of the articles had the same message written into the resource box. Nine were approved and one was rejected for using 'teaser' copy to get clicks. Go figure...

EZA is the 800-pound gorilla of article directories so I'm going to fix this and resubmit but I'd like to see more consistency.
