Monetize your IM Knowledge on Skype! Get paid TWICE for what you already do.

I have a neighbor who does web design and SEO. What I think is a really good idea, is that not only does she charge her clients for web design, she actually also has a system set up on skype where she allows someone to "follow her" all day and watch what she is doing, so they can learn web design/ seo, and she charges them. So technically she is getting paid twice for doing the same thing!

You gotta think, there are a lot of people out there that want your services, but there are more that want your knowledge and to KNOW HOW TO DO what you do everyday. If you provided some kind of " a day in the life of . . . " and charged a set amout of money for allowing someone to watch what you do, THAT would be VALUABLE!

There are tons of books and videos out there, but there is nothing like real-time online learning. And people are willing to pay for something like that.

I am not full time in IM yet, but I know if I was I would SO be doing this. Hope this helps someone out.

    That's a clever idea, but I think it would make for more productive viewing if she edited down her 8 hours of recording to a < 1 hour piece with narration, still quicker than a scripted production effort.

    I Don't know that I would want her working with my secrets.

    I've been doing that since Skype added the pay per minute option a couple of years ago.
