Comission Tax Question
Hey Warriors,
I'm working on a project, where users from my customers websites will complete CPA offers. My plan is to give a commission of the money generated to the website owner (my customers) that their users generated completing my offers.
My biggest hangup is how to handle this tax wise, should i gather the W9/W8 from my users? And if so, what is the best way to securely store that data (encrypted in a database?, pdf files? etc.). I've seen a few CPA networks collecting the W9 information using an electronic web form, are there any resources about this out there?
