You Give Me Fiverr...

Hi, Warriors,

Yet again a question about fiverr (this site seems to attract my attention every now and then).

Would someone give me advice how to rank my gigs their high, so that people actually find them and bombard me with orders?

Logically, I checked the categories/keywords relevant to my gigs, and saw which tags the most popular gigs use.

Until now, despite me already having two positive votes on one of my gigs, I can't report any other orders.

Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

  • depending on what your gig is post it on your facebook page and friends pages, you could also make a free video about your gig using animoto and then put it on youtube for more exposure. it takes time for you to build a good rap but once you do it should start to snowball be careful what you wish for LOL

  • You can also look through the requests section on the right side of Fiverr.. if someone is requesting your gig, message them and tell them about it. This will get you more gigs -> more thumbs up -> higher ranking!

    • Everyday spent on Warrior Forum proves my friend who recommended it to me was right- great place, full of great people. Thank you all.
  • Fiverr is filled with lots of competition nowadays. Find any other method dude.

    • I would suggest doing some video marketing telling people what you actually offer and put it on You Tube. That is where people are heading more to find out 1) how to do things and 2) how to find someone else to do things for them.

Like someone said, a quick Animoto video showcasing some of your work.
    • There will be always somewhere something filled with lots of competition ... just to put in perspective ....

      Timo
  • you could put your fiverr gigs in your signature as well

  • Wonder if it would be possible to get a fiverr gig ranked in Google?
  • Hi Morgen, Fiverr is a wonderful method. I made over $523, in only 2 months. But the best came in latest 20 days.
Then I was unable to proceed because of too many orders, so for now I stopped working on it. I was going crazy. All day working on it...

After some holidays I will be able to restart.
Probably I will release a 4 page guide soon, so stay tuned.

The best method is sharing and giving some bonuses, and when you have some visits and a few orders, you can ask to them to be added as "Featured" in their home page.
If you want contact me personally via PM and I will share some tips and tricks.

    Thanks,
    Alessandro

    • Hi, Alessandro, thank you for the friendly reply. I would gladly contact you via PM, however, I am not allowed to do that yet. I will deeply appreciate it, if you PM me your e- mail address, so that we can get in contact that way. Kind Regards
    • Alessandro, it certainly sounds like you're on the right path, however you might want to look into only offering gigs that are less time-consuming on your part - you should preferably offer gigs that take a maximum of 5-10 minutes to fulfill.

  • Find other gig sites like fiverr such as tenbux and set up gigs in all of these places. The good thing about that is that some of the other gig sites you can charge more than $5 for a gig. There's a site I use that is called makeafiver.co.uk which is £5 GBP Sterling which is a little more than $5 and the set up and layout of the whole site is almost identical to fiverr!
    Check it out

    Hope this helps,

  • I have found that when I first post the gig, it is near top, but as the days go by the drop me into the dirt as they say. Try to build up your rep. OK and go for niches so you do not get buried under a bunch of other gigs.

Like everything else in life, it is hard to break in. However, things get easier once you have established a good name.

    Things that help you are:
    1) good ratings
    2) good desc
    3) video

    • Having read all the above posts, it just occurred to me that an extensive and proven list of all the quality fiverr-ish clones might be useful to many WF members (maybe even a sticky?). Does anyone of you dispose of such a list? Kind Regards
  • Do some free articles and promote your stuff on social media sites like hubpages and etc.

I ordered and tried so far about 15 different gigs, the higest rated ones, for generating traffic.

on aaverage I received 4 clicks from each gig for which I paid 5$,

such a waste of time and money, you get almost nothing for your money

    I was very dissapointed
  • I can't say any thing about others. I m selling 5 edu backlinks. not making Big promises its upon people how to use them.
  • I think you have to renew your gigs so it would go to the top. That's what I'm making with my gigs. Try also the fiverr-like sites like uphype, zeerk, etc.
  • I have many kind of high Quality and edu backlinks those I found by myself which I use for my personal use only. now they are in thousands. can any one suggest me how to sell any Giddiness.
  • actually fiverr is working for me.. I tried a lot in CPA and still doing but can't getting the right way. hmm till then I would do gigs.

    • Hey I am struggling to make money on fiverr.. 5 gigs online .. but no reply
  • Put your Fiverr links at your signature at relative forum, active at that forum, this is a good way to get your buyers to your gigs. It is a good way to make money with beginners and you can learn some good experience from it.
  • An example to the skeptics.

I have a gig where I use SEO Enterprise to generate an SEO report for someone. This takes me about 3mins total, and the program generates a detailed pdf. I have just made $4.

I do this gig 3 or 4 times, I have enough money to buy a domain, and a few more get me hosting. There is a great use for Fiverr for newbies, and people who can think of gigs that can be done quickly.
  • The Fiverr people like it when you have a video on your gig and that video says their name in the title screen. In addition, ask them to feature you. The worst they can say is "no.' Also, do some standard backlinking to your link with them. These things helped me.
  • My only advice is to create different variants of the same job and also create many jobs. It gives you more opps for getting an offer.
  • You should advertise your gigs as you would advertise a website. Of course there are differences but treat it the same.
  • when I joined first day made two gigs.. and The reaction was 2 orders 5 messages. lol I said why I m not getting 5 order a day n I start working for that n now I m getting many orders those take me around 5-10 mints to complete.
I spent more time while making gigs around hour or two.
  • Check out this forum special offers section. There are some good and cheap WSO's for sale. Get one and you're just about set to go!

I used and tested some gigs and paid 5$ for each. The results were embarassing, terrible

    • This is why I believe that there is still significant potential to make money at sites like Fiverr - if you actually provide a great service there for $5, you'll stick out like a sore thumb and get lots of orders for your gigs!

Did you still pay for them?

Which "traffic-generating" gigs did you have bad experiences with?

I made a list by myself also with gigs that even if they have good feedback, they are worse than terrible in fact

      5$ paid for 3 clicks... that's pathetic!
  • I followed what was going on fiverr for a while and then wrote a blog post:

7 steps to a killer fiverr.com gig and skyrocket your online business

    Hope you find it useful.

Try gaining knowledge as much as you can, if you have a gig of making a website for $5,
Offcourse it is less but the knowledge, the skills that you are gaining will be much much costlier.

  • yeah use the social platforms such as fb, twitter, linked in, you tube etc and use fiverr to get backlinks to other sites. The more backlinks, the more your sites get seen
  • Fiverr is a FANTASTIC offline lead getter....
  • You can put up a blog showcasing your gigs as well. Make a fan page for it, then link to your blog or gig. Not everybody knows about fiverr. Hang out in a place full of people (forums etc) and have your gig as your signature.

  • Not sure if this has been said before, but you can always create a new gig that is a carbon copy of your old gig, but the call to action should link back to your old gig. This way, your newest gig will appear at the top of the page. Creating a new gig as a carbon copy of your old one should only take about 20 seconds.

Once people go back to your old gig and buy from that page, you will be able to start gaining some momentum and gaining some positive feedback. You can continue to create carbon copy new gigs that will link back to your old gig until your old gig has enough feedback to be ranked as one of the top "most popular" or "highest rating". Hope that helps!
  • One of the things that I did to get gigs there is to look for the gigs I wanted to do and send them a message that said: Do you still need this? (copy and pastes what they wrote) They respond and you go set up a gig button.

    Hope that helps.
  • I just copied the top gig in my market and made my own twist to it. It's been pretty successful and I get orders ticking in every now and then...
  • All of the typical marketing methods should work, you just don't have to put in as much effort as you would promoting some website.
  • You may want to use their "featured Gig" and also the picture that you used with the gig matter a lot.

Give really good value and make it irresistible for people not to buy is the way to go

so can anyone recommend a traffic gig that actually delivers some value... and more than 100 clicks?

because all the ones with high ratings that I tried, were just waste of time an dmoney... 3 clicks received for 5$, 8 clicks received... and of course NO SALES...
