CB Hoplink --> Wrong Salespage

Hey guys,

A while ago I got a bunch of different products approved by Clickbank.

I just tested the modified hoplink:

http://Affiliates.Vendor.hop.clickbank.net

The only challenge is that the first item in my product list is not the first item in my sales funnel. So when people use that link they end up at the wrong salespage.

Any advice for getting the above hoplink to go to the correct salespage? Item #2 for example?

    Sean,

    You have two options as I see it.

    1. Edit your products in Clickbank and change them around so product #1 is the correct product. This is definitely the way I would be going.

    OR

    2. Use a product such as Clickbank Affiliate Link Cloaking with HopGuard which will allow your affiliates to send people to any landing page you want for any product on your account. The only problem with this method is that affiliates can still bypass your links and use the regular clickbank hoplink.

    There are always going to be people using the regular hoplink. I would make sure this is always redirecting to the correct product. The only real way to fix that is to edit your products in Clickbank and put them in the correct order.

      Damn. I did this. I deleted item #1 and made it item #8 and I created a new item #1.

      The hoplink still goes to the salespage of the origional item #1 - the wrong salespage - that is now item #8.

      What can I do to get the hoplink directing to the proper salespage?
