Clickbank and affiliate tracking

Hey warriors,

Does anyone know a reliable way of having your tracking codes triggered whenever you generate an affiliate sale with Clickbank?

I obviously cannot dozens of product owners to embed my tracking code into their Thank You page, nor I want to manually parse clickbank's reports into a excel sheet to comb through the tracking IDs.

I need an automated way of getting my tracking code triggered as affiliate sales come in. Is there any way?

TIA!

I use tracking202 for tracking my campaigns, it's free and has a a solid reputation.. Type it into google and have a look at it, you can tell if clicks are real, where they come from, conversions and more.

But how do you embed the GOAL tracking code into the product's Thank You page? Obviously without contacting all the CB vendors and ask them to embed your tracking script into their respective thank you page.

I am not too sure if I understand your question, but why not just use a unique tracking Id for your keywords and for your websites. You can get the tracking Id from clickbank and this way whenever you make a sale you would see the tracking Id beside it and you would know where the sale came from.

Because I'd need to manually export the reports into a CSV file, and then compare what ID matches with what, etc. I'd rather simply place my tracking code (for example Google Analytics) into the Thank You page so I dont have to do anything manually.

Well most times I just name the tracking id something I can easily remember so I dont have to do that, for instance I might make the tracking Id the "keyword" or the "website". I understand what you are saying though

I'm aware of that. I was searching for an IPN function to trigger the tracking code as the function is called...

I have exactly the same question. As a non-coder, I trying to set up a 'simple' connection between an IPN (Plimus) and my t202 postback script to track my sales, that I process as an affiliate.

Anonymous Affiliate, any luck already and willing to share your experiences?

I've got a feeling that without access to the vendors thank you page, it's not possible. I was struggling with this a while back and never found a solution.

If anyone can prove otherwise, I'd love to know the answer myself.

Turn on Integrated Sales Reporting in Clickbank, under Account Settings. Hook up your Google Analytics account. It works for affiliates, not just vendors.

If you are not averse to using Google Analytics, it works fine. You see page views for order form views and for successful orders.

Old thread, but still very lively topic for some of us, so thanks for tipping. However, my Q did not concern Clickbank/GA, but Plimus (IPN) and prosper202.

Afraid a solution for this is nowhere to be found... :-/

    You can't

The easiest way to track is using something like W3ROI.
