How I made over $200 in one day on Clickbank

Hey Warriors,

Just thought I would share how I made over $200 in one day one Clickbank and close to $200 on another day.

What I did was promote a product where you could watch the BCS Championship online and the Sugarbowl online. There are lots of different products like this on Clickbank just find one that has a relevant landing page and go with it.

Ok here is how I did it.

Step 1
I wrote one Squidoo lens about watching the BCS championship online.

Step 2
I submitted the RSS feed to feedage.com

Step 3
I pinged my Squidoo lens to get the spiders coming.

Step 4 I wrote a Press Release about it and published it at Free Press Release Distribution Service - PR Log

Step 5
I bookmarked my lens to 10 to 20 top social bookmarking sites.

Step 6
I submitted the RSS FEED using RSS Submit software

Step 7
I submitted to Articlebase and Goarticles (Ezine articles will not accept these kinds of articles because of copyright issues)

Step 8
Gameday I wait for the money to come in.


That is it. Hope someone gets something out of this.

      That is what is great about Squidoo, You can direct link to the vendor sales page with the raw hoplink straight from Clickbank. Put you in a little code if you want to track different hits on the page and your done.

        Yes it is a TV product. Here is one of the better ones Profit Pal dot com. They have landing pages specific to football and other sports.

      Find a product associated with your squidoo lens. (Amazon, clickbank, etc). Put some pictures up and add some good content. Sprinkle your affiliate links in around the lens.

    Just please be cautious with free web site properties. They can shut you down at will, with no recourse.

    I would hate to see you build up repeatable sales like this and have it all taken away because they decide your lenses are too commercial or something crazy.

    Just don't have all your eggs in one basket.

      It gets approved instanly with prlog.org and you don't write it if you don't think you can write a good one..Just outsource it to a ghostwriter but they are really easy to write.

      Go sign up at the top social bookmarking sites. Digg, Delicious, Jumptags, etc. Well you can add your site, title, description, url, and tags and get a link back to your site which will help to get your site indexed, bring more traffic...etc.

      Step 2 you will grab the url of your Squidoo lens and go to feedage.com

      After you are signed up click on MY HTML2RSS scroll to the bottom and on the left side of the page click Add HTML2RSS then you will enter your url. Check the box that says enabled then click on save.

      Now if this is your first time doing this you will only have one HTML2RSS if not click on date added it will bring up your newest saved url.

      Now copy that url then click on my feeds, then scroll down to the bottom and click submit RSS Feed.

      Next put in your title: How to Watch the World Series Online!

      Copy and paste your url from the HTML2RSS, select niche, click enabled and your done.


      Step 3

      Go to pingler.com

      This one is easy put in your website title or article title, copy paste in your url, type in captcha, then hit the ping button. Here come the search engine spiders to crawl all over your site because you just let them know you have updated your site and now you have fresh content.

    There was a big crack down on those type of products for copyright infringement. Be careful what you promote. The US government ceased sites who did nothing more than link to sites selling products that shared or sold illlegal access to ncaa streams.

    Be wise. Dont be like the guy standing on the street corner selling pirated dvds.

        That's a good one, such simple planning works. Wonderign how many people are buying their .info for setting up their Adsense sites for next big events or next big series.

          The PROCESS the OP lays out has merit.

          The NICHE should not be pursued. What is laid out is called contributory copyright infringement.

          Also known as being involved in a conspiracy to commit a criminal act.

          Not only is the Department of Homeland Security seizing websites that promote such theft, but you are wide open to a lawsuit.

          Make sure you understand that PROMOTERS of such streaming sites are being targeted by government officials and copyright owners.

      Andrea, you could easily promote other popular events or interesting current topics, and find related affiliate or CPA offers that would be a natural fit for them (in most cases, it's not too hard).

    I totally believe you because i also used this tecnique durinng LAst world cup in south Africa. i made close to a $1000 in just 7 days. but i used a blogger blog and drove traffic with press release, yahoo answer

    Basically everyone investing so much work should be rewarded. Taking action is the most difficult part for all online marketers as laziness takes over mostly all the time.
    Self control is a very important part and needs special training in order not to loose concentration on a work you do.

    However I which service you are promoting as Clickbank has banned all "Watch Superbowl online" etc... going through to services like Satellite Direct etc...

    Simple reason is that you CANNOT watch these events using the service and I think Clickbank were contacted by Google because of all the listings appearing in the news results.

    I have been doing something similar with squidoo and hubpages for some clickbank products, but this has now given me more direction with it.

    Just wondering, was the article that you submitted to squidoo, prlog, articlesbase and go articles a copy and paste of the same article or did you rewrite unique content for each of these?

    And was the articles base and go article submission for the purpose of backlinks to your squidoo lens or for another source of directing traffic to the product?

    Is it "watch TV on PC' product. I got a hubpage about this niche but it was suspended because hubpage do not allow hubs promoting this type of products. The same thing happened to my free blogger blog. I was wondering why Squidoo which seem to be quite strict than hubpage allows such niche in their lens.

    Thanks for sharing your techniques. Will do that and give you feedback on my end.

        Yeah, this is definitely a good start for newbies. You don't actually need to spend any cent for buying host and domain before you can reach the lowest fruits. I started from the hard way, learning everything, building websites, buying host and domains (which I wasted a lot of money on buying domains). I also thought about building squidoo lens to promote affiliate products but then I was afraid those free service will take away my asset. Now Shannon had just showed me the good use of squidoo. I think another beauty of this is when you see the market is profitable you can start to build your own site and then you can use your reputable and good ranking lens to direct traffic to your site.

    I've always been skeptical of using Squidoo lenses for affiliate marketing, as I've heard a lot of stories of them being taken down etc...It's good to see there's still money to be made with Squidoo, I might even give it a shot at some point.

      There isn't, really. This thread is nearly three years old, and everything's changed (again) since then. Even some of the people who used to sell "Squidoo WSO's" here a year or so ago are openly telling people that they're "now moving away from Squidoo".

      Finally - when the inevitable happened - some of them admitted that it makes no sense at all to try to do this. "Because of changing circumstances", of course: one can't really expect them to admit that it never actually made much long-term sense in the first place. The reality is that those "changing circumstances" come around regularly and are both predictable and understandable.
