What products would you pitch to a CAR AUDIO FORUM?

I own the second largest (traffic wise) car audio forum on the net.
I am looking for some products to pitch to these guys to help raise some money for some testing equipment I'd like to buy for our site.

I have about 30k emails on the list.

any ideas on specific products that might do well?

Nothing specific but I would definately consider asking the 30,000 people on your list exactly what they want and why.

Then I'd find the products and pitch them.

    That's a nice list.

Clickbank has a product that might fit the bill. Here's their description, complete with typos and misspellings:

Audio Quicktest (aqt) is a powerful sound setup tool. It includes a tone generator pink noise "dry instrument" (anechoic) generator channel checks and more. Use it for strereos church PAs recording studios home theaters car audio systems and more

    Pays $13.26 per sale.

30k? Sheesh! I wish I had a list like that.

Are you an amazon affiliate? If you are, you could make a KILLING selling car audio products through them. You could even have your own little forum webstore. No need to actually stock the products, as amazon will be taking care of all that.

And car audio stuff isn't cheap, so the commission you'd make would be pretty stellar.

As far as your list goes, you could start sending out a newsletter with "featured products of the week" and point those folks over to amazon as well.

    Hope this helps

You surely could sell through Amazon but try Commission Junction or LinkShare to find an individual website which could provide you with a higher commission

Yeah, that is what I said. I don't konw anything about my members and I want to sell them crap. You read my words perfectly! Way to possition yourself to earn futrure business on the warrior forum with such a great attitude!

I did not say that I don't know my members interest. It is the products I am not familiar with. Being new to IM I don't know all the different types of products out there and figured since this is a forum that deals with internet marketing that perhaps someone my know a thing or 2 about the different available options.

I think his point was: did you get a copy of the clickbank product and review it before you recommended it to your members?

I did a few minutes of due dilligence and saw that it has all the tones we need for tuning an audio system. It even has a few features that are not required for tuning but very cool and fun to play with. Not a lot I would change about it!

I own a large car forum for Arizona Honda car enthusiasts with 18,000 members that has been featured in numerous magazines, and I know next to nothing about cars or tuning them. My only revenue is from local vendors selling their own products and Adsense.

I didn't get the same tone from the OP as you did obviously, nowhere in his posts did I pick up on "I want to sell them crap."

Excitable people, 1. not looking to position myself but a response to your post / your words / maybe i read that wrong and is my error,

With such a large forum that your inner ear would be telling you what these people would or might want, for example related products such as cleaning gear for their cars, a top 10 guide to the perfect clean ride? I'll bet these guys as much as they love their sound systems would love a clean ride, i bet there would be all of the latest vibes about the latest sound systems out there, and i am sure those manufacturers would want to promote advertise / sell the sound systems, so a contact and set up a forum only discount. save 20% on xyz sound upgrades this month only ( this would be the latest top selling must have systems as per your forum readers)

set up forum sponsorship with some of these related options.

        2. yes i suppose that was the point where just blindly sending out offers may cause people to be turned off and probably the last thing to do would be to blindly send out offers, there was good suggestion in post two, to ask them

/ at all sorry for the response sharpness and appearing rude, not my style and i have better things to do, with that, apologies and wish you well with your venture.

(only replied because i did sponsor and work with auto forums for a long time and based on my own findings ./ thanks)
