vbulletin + internet explorer = NO HAIR

I pulled all my hair out. My wife is afraid because I am starting to look at her hair as well.

I just set up a vbulletin forum and cannot get logged in using internet explorer. I noticed the same thing on this forum and wondered if anyone had it figured it out. No google search has helped me yet. This is a clean install with no mods.

Please save my wife.

It must be a setting in your IE that is causing the error login.

Make sure cookies enable ajax enable and all the updates the IE have been downloaded and intsalled.

Man, I hope that is the problem Henry. I set the options to allow all cookies. I will try the ajax enable now.

      Thanks buddy,

        Thomas -

I was able to login using IE 6+ and leave a post for you.

    Hi,

Are you getting "operation aborted"? Thats often an add on. Even with a clean install there are some default add ons that can suffer from rouge code. skype caused me problems a while ago on eBay! Adobe caused issues last year. Try turning them off one by one.

    Rob.
