Email Blasting: Anyone Ever Try It?

I've seen some promotions for email blasting...the kind that say they have an email list of 1 million++ strong and you'll be able to email this list...etc.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Does it work?

Your replies are appreciated.

    Email blasting works like magic.

If you use the right blasting software you'll have those little
email buggers dead, and floating to the top in no time.

    George,

Seriously, stay away from them. You are asking for trouble.

    Thanks,

No, it's merely a script that sends an email through several safelist networks. The people on the safelists are smart enough to use an email address they will never read.

The odds of this working are zilch. Save your money.

Save your pennies, forget about it, and move on. Period.

In the US criminal courts it's known as spamming.

Does the word "blast" sound remotely like something you would want someone doing to your inbox?
