Top 3 Ways To Increase Article ClickThru Rates

Anyone in the article marketing world knows that a good article will give you good results. But an awesome high quality article will give you kick-ass results. That is why it is important to spend time with this. If you can master this the rewards can be tremendous.
I have been doing article marketing for so many years. I have tested all sorts of things but you are really trying to get your prospect to a level of thinking that they just got some valuable tips, and great stuff at that, but you have to leave them craving for more! It is very simple, yet quite a task at the same time.
Over the years there are three ways that I use to double and sometimes triple click thru rates on the bio box in my niche article testing.
Here are the top three tips on how to get more clicks to your site from articles. We all know more traffic = more optins / more sales.
Tip #1
The first thing going through someone's mind these days is... Oh great, another article, that probably links to a spam page or scam. So from the get go be creative, cause them to ask questions, be different but most importantly give them stuff that they wouldn't normally find in a 300 verbatim article.
If you know what you are talking about. And show this in the first few paragraphs, you are going to increase the chance of someone clicking your link, reading your sales page and buying.
Have you ever bought a newspaper and realised that you bought it and only read a few whole news items. As you turn the pages and browse around, you try to read the story but Somewhere in the first few sentences, you yawned and got bored so you moved on to some other story like Jennifer hawkins pants fall down on stage (lol) or something that really interests you. Did you read the whole thing!!!!? sure you did. So what I am saying is be different and be that jennifer hawkins story, enthral them from the first sentence and keep them reading. Keep their attention, That will give you more chance of them reading the whole thing, and increasing the chances of clicking your link at the end.
Tip #2
Too many times you will see people use their bio sig line as a space to plug themselves. ok....BIG NO NO. People do not give two hoots about you or your business. They want to know what you can do for them? What is in it for them? How can you make their lives better? Why?
As you are writing, realise the article is not a one step approach. It is a 1.2.3 punch.
The 1 - grab their attention and keep them reading.
The 2 - Give them great quality tips, tricks or techniques. These almost always get more views and clicks. (like "Top 10 ways to prepare for the coming economic depression") and list them down as actionable things they can do that will actually help them.
The 3 - now you have them in, do not annoy them with a self plug. Give them the benefits on why they should visit your site. Get them to take action on the spot.
This 1.2.3 punch work in synch. If you get 1 right, and stuff up with number 2, you are in trouble. Or if you get 2 and 3 right but failed at the start and failed to grab their attention first. So it was a waste in first place. You have to work out your own way to get these working all in sync. The better you do this, the better the article will flow and the better your clickthru rates will be.

This is my favourite one. Go to an article directory. Most likely EA (Ezinearticle) and we will use the piggybacking technique.
Go and click on an article.
Scroll down and Go to the most viewed articles in your niche. Go through all of them and study them, and their bio boxes. You will soon realise some of them are better than the others. What you want to do is look for good bio's that are attractive, do not copy but create ones that are similar.
Look for benefit driven bios and not boring ones that are unattractive. A bad one might read "Get the latest dog tricks here" crap right? What is in it for the reader. Does it make you want to click the link. No, So how about this one..... "Discover The 7 Secrets On How To Rehabilitate Your Dogs Bad Behaviour Today! Click Here Now"
The second is just an example, but it gives a few benefits and a call to action also. It can really makes a difference to getting more traffic from the artilces you have. The secret then is to test and see which one pulls the most clicks and start using that. You will be suprised when you are testing which bios will get more clicks, so it is well worth testing about 5 or 6 at at time. One will be the clear winner, then see if you can beat those clickthru rates again. win win situation
