Backlinks for Articles

Ive got a couple of questions about building backlinks for articles.

1. Is posting your article on a blogspot blog and putting a link to your article and author name underneath the article a good way of building a backlink? i.e. is doing this as effective as leaving a backlink by posting a blog comment on someones blog.

Also, would doing this effect getting your article approved by Ezine? I know Ezine accept articles which have been submitted elsewhere if the pen name is the same but would this still be applicable considering blogspot isn't an article directory?

2. When you post your article URL when making a comment on a blog, should you put your articles main keyword as the Name: or does that look to spammy?

Does this doing this have any effect on the value of the backlink?

Blog commenting is one of the oldest way of gaining backlinks and traffic. You must if possible use anchor text on your backlink for your most targeted keyword to try n get seo ranking.

    1. Yes, this is fine. You only need to prove ownership of the article.

Also, on your blogspot blog, use your link in context in the article. You have more latitude and don't have to have in the resource box like an article directory.

    2. Yes that looks spammy. Some blog owners will not approve your comments if it looks too spammy. Check the blog you want to comment on and see what others have done and gotten approved.

    1) One is contexual backlink, the other is blog commenting. Both are effective, and nobody really can be sure which is better per say. Just take note that blog commenting is far more tedious because it's highly likely the blog owner will delete the comment. Besides you have to put into consideration whether it's follow or nofollow. Putting backlinks on blogspot works very well if you do it right. Because they're owned by Google so the spiders crawl blogspot blogs very often. The backlinks therefore get picked up very quickly.

The content you put up at ezinearticles.com must never be already placed anywhere else, regardless of whether article directory or not. Else it'll get rejected and your account suspended. You can prove ownership to them when they ask you where you get your articles from, but then again that'd be a wasteful period so why not just act in accordance with their rules.

    2) That would look spammy, so you need to check other comments and see if other people are putting their names. If all are putting their names, chances are the website owner would reject any obvious spammers, so it'd be wise to put a pseudo name. Less effective than an anchored backlink but nonetheles one.

Link your money site in the BIO/Author box by an anchor text ( your targeted keywords)

I recommend making some introductory sentences as well so as your bio section will not look to advertising
