Start over w/ ezine articles?

Hey everyone-

I started using ezine articles at the very, very beginning of my IM studies, and while the articles are good quality in terms of the writing and content and have been accepted, I think it's pretty clear to anyone who reviews the account that it's about directing traffic to affiliate/niche/info sites.

I did not know or understand anything about the platinum level membership.

I have about 28 or so articles there-- do you think it would be easier to start over with a new membership and write 10 "platinum level" quality articles about a topic with no links in them, etc. ?

Thanks

Creating a second account is a violation of EZA's Terms of Service.

You could avoid anyone knowing those articles are linked to you by simply using pen names. But as far as the link to affiliate sites... quite few articles are doing just that. Just keep writing, you are obsessing over nothing

Thanks- yes I meant start over as in wiping out the account, but that might actually not be an option anyway- I think i'll just wait and see what happens on the next line of review.

I'm afraid it simply isn't an option at all. It would - understandably - get both your old and new accounts banned. They don't like people trying to "get round the system".

You can do that without the "new membership", though, and just try to get to Platinum as well and quickly as you can.

Do you already have platinum membership? You can just delete your articles that you have already written, and you will still have platinum membership.

You may want to consider Google's new position on content like that which is frequently found in EZA and many other directories to determine if the effort is warranted. EZA's ranking for many keywords we've looked at has already fallen significantly.

    YMMV, of course.

Thanks for the replies- I was thinking more on the lines of deleting much of the articles that I have, but they may get saved on a server anyway.

I may be completely mistaken in this, but I was getting the impression from things i'm reading that 10 'here, out of the goodness of my heart, some great tips on meditation' well written articles vs. 25, though well written, articles about why x jewelry piece is great with a link to it, etc. At this point I'll just see what happens when I get up to 30 or whatever the next eval is.
