I love templatic themes. They are simple, easy to use and beautifully customizable.

I also love the Thesis theme. It is great for blogs

What premium themes do you like?

Appologies for the typo in thread title!

I have mostly used free themes(Flexibility and one called wp_009 for the most part) but with a new site I'm developing, I think I'm going to use one of these - Premium WordPress Themes | Elegant Themes

$39 for a year seems reasonable, especially as you can use any of them. Someone posted up their site earlier here(was a dating/relationship site) and they were using one of those themes and it looked stunning

I have also thought about upgrading from Flexibility 3 to Flex Squeeze. There seem to be a lot more features, and they are designed for us IM's

I love Elegant Themes, but often times I just make my own themes via Artisteer.

Woo Themes have some pretty slick looks. But I'm becoming more and more impressed with PageLines themes. Easy to work in. Very clean looks. Good stuff.

Me too. I have been buying templates, both HTML and Wordpress on Themeforest for a long time, for myself as well as my (webdesign) clients and I've been very happy with the quality of the templates.

I have used a fair amount of different premium themes, the one I really enjoy using simply because it is just darn easy to setup and use is the HeatMap theme, naturally there is no wrong answer here, but you did ask, so that is the one I actually enjoy using, I also have thesis, but it just not as user friendly as I would like, sort of like sitting in the cock pit of an airplane and not knowing if your going to crash the plane or fly it straight and level,

    Just my 2cents,

Thanks for all your comments. I love templatic themes but after reading this checked out Elegant themes. They are lovely and the price is affordable. I am not so keen of woo themes as alot of people use them and they are pretty boring to be honest! No offense.

I too like Elegant Themes- they have really different themes that cater to almost any model (traditional blog, corporate, news, magazine, services, even a cool FAQ theme). All of these at a very affordable price.

Another reason I really like them is that they have a very active support forum for members- for each theme there is a separate thread and you will find so much information there about customizing them- almost any issue has been answered (i.e., how to change logo, how to change fonts, colors, sizes, order of navigation, etc.) and if your question has not been answered, they are extremely responsive and provide exactly what you need to do for what you want to do.

I have used Elegant Themes to build two sites so far and love them! It's funny, before finding Elegant, I spent twice as much on a "hyped-up" IM theme and was THOROUGHLY disappointed. Their sales-page was really good but the look was extremely unprofessional. Then, I found Elegant. I can't sing enough praises for them. Their prices and knowledge-base are awesome. I do wish they had a bunch more choices but that's definitely not a deal-killer for me.

I started out with free templates. Then I learned Wordpress development and started purchasing some of the top themes and customizing them to fit my own needs.

Now I just design my own. When I'm press for time, as usually I am, I'll just use one of the ones I already have in my collection.

Which template or theme did you use for "online money coach" and which one did you use for "lonnie gardner"?

Artisteer is a theme designer rather than a theme itself.
I've used Frugal, it is both SEO and IM friendly and quite flexible. Available The frugal Premium Wordpress Theme | frugal Theme

I have purchased Word Press themes from many places, but these are my favorite vendors:

      -ElegantThemes.com
      -StudioPress.com
      -iThemes.com
      -PremiumPress.com

All seem to be reputable, and I have had good response from their customer service or support systems.

Templatic is pretty cool Nikki, never knew about them.

Ultimately, I'm with a lot of others on here: Elegant Themes!

    Love them.

I also managed to get a super rad FREE theme just from browsing wordpress. The design was so sick, I had to get it.
