Lot's of threads on article marketing, traffic, opt in's, etc. How about a thread on preselling.

ie. Do you offer a bonus for buying? A list of the features or benefits? Try to seem relatble?

What do you do to increase your conversions?

    Find out what your prospects REALLY want.
    Then Give it to them in benefit form.

    i.e.
    • Here's what I got (that they want too).
    • Here's what it does (how it benefits them, makes their lives easier, does something faster, automated, what it gives them)
    • Here's how to get it (call to action, 'buy here', download now, etc.)
    • Why you should get it now (scarcity, risk reversing guarantee, proof testimonials etc)
    and well ... that's basically it, in short form, coz selling is an absolutely HUGE topic

    You can make a little money with suggestive marketing. But you can make a lot of money with solution marketing. I don't know what your market is, but the question is, is your product suggestive or solution oriented? Is your product in DEMAND and do people NEED it now? Or do you have to convince them that it's the best for them?

    So you ask how to increase your conversions? Find a desperate audience that's sizable and you have a profitable one. Some things just don't sell.

    Tell them why they need the product. Appeal to their emotions and not their intellect because people base 80 percent of decisions on emotion believe it or not

    I don't try to sell them or convince them of anything.

    I just don't make anything I don't already know they want - that way I just need to tell them it's there and they buy it. No fancy sales copy required.

      Wont you make a higher % of sales by doing the sales copy stuff?

      Do you do promotions to an email list?, and who writes your sales copy + emails?

        Nope.... I've tested it a lot. If I presell it by finding out what they want - I just need to tell them it's ready.

        No-one does my sales copy - I don't use any. I've tried lots of copywriters in the past and found that the thing that makes the most difference is who I'm selling to. Once they know me - I just need to tell them what I have and they buy it. Adding detail and extra copy makes hardly any difference.

        I've even tested it with just a paypal button and zero words on the page and it hardly affected conversions.

        If I was relying only on random visitors then that would be completely different.

          To find out what they want, what do you use? survey websiteS?
