How to Get 200 Uniques to Your Site Per Day??

Hello fellow warriors,

I'm currently marketing one of my niche blogs. My EZA articles are still in review. However, instead of whining, I've gone on and took Jeremy's advice to just continue building backlinks to my blog.

This is what I've done and going to be doing in the next few days:

Submit 2 article to 10 OTHER article directories manually
Submit 3 article to iSnare for distribution
Submit my blog feed to RSS sites
Submit 1 of my blog posts to social bookmarking sites
Submit a bookmark about my blog to social bookmarking sites
Set up Blogger, Wordpress, Squidoo lens and Hubpages and submit content to them with them linking to my main site
Once my EZA articles are approved, I'm going to submit my author rss feed to RSS sites
Once my iSnare articles are approved, I'm going to submit my author rss feed to RSS sites

So after doing some calculations, I came up with a figure of 200 uniques to my site if I want to make 1 sale a day.

Here's my question:

Is what I'm doing ok for me to achieve these numbers? (I figure I'm going to be busy doing this for the next few weeks.)

If not, can some kind warriors help give me other ways or methods I can use to funnel more people to my site?

Thanks in advance
Lydia

Google Adwords. Phenomenal. You might have to pay a little money, but you get instant traffic and you can see how well your site will make you money.

Paying the cash will also force you to constantly be tweaking and getting your site to optimum conversion. You could make more than one sale a day if you test.

If you go that route, I've found that buying bids on the content network and using image ads is a lot cheaper than search network and gives you much better quality customers.

      Hi Rachel,

I've been burnt doing PPC so I'm staying away from that first and doing any other proven effective methods. Thanks

YouTube videos!! I have been using videos quite successfully to get people to my site. You have to ensure the video title, description and tags are loaded with your keywords and you then have to get a few friends to watch the videos and rate them favorably.

Also, integrate your YouTube channel with your Facebook profile. That way, every time you post a new video, all your friends find out about it. The first few times, I sent emails to my friends asking them to rate my videos. Once a dozen or two ratings came in, my traffic went up quickly.

I also recommend putting an overlay at the bottom of your videos with your URL listed, so viewers can see your URL during the entire video.

    Lydia,

My suggestion: create something that you give away for free, that has a backlink to your site. For example: Create a Free Wordpress Theme with a link to your site in the footer. Create a free ebook report with a link to your site.

Create something of value that people would be inclined to share, encourage them to share it with their friends, put it on their site as a free download, or as a free bonus with their product, etc. and by using this viral tactic, automation in itself will do the traffic building for you.

Work Smart, not hard (well... work hard too... but you know the saying...)

    Hi lydia,

You have a good traffic plan there. You can also use videos to drive more traffic just like Jim said. Another way is to use podcast. Convert the articles into audios like mp3 and then submit to podcast sites. Make sure you record your url at the end of the audio.

That should give you even more boost of traffic. Even viral traffic like Jared mention can bring in continous traffic to your site.

Hi Jim, thanks for that great info. I didn't know about combining YouTube with Facebook. Definitely doable.

Hi Winson, this list was shared by a fellow warrior who got it from a thread here. I don't know where but here's the direct link:

      55 RSS Directories

Hi Stephen, I'm planning on doing this until I've reached my target of 200 unique and targeted visitors per day. If I find that I've already reached the hands-off stage then I'll carry out another project. Maybe a conduit method type of project. We'll see. The way things are going, I'll be focusing on this current project for quite a bit.

      Hi mudmat,

Wow, a very informative method. I didn't think of converting my articles to podcasts. Thanks for opening my mind to greater and larger things out there. I may just do this.

      Additional info:

Hi all, I've decided to scale my efforts further by doing things that I've no experience in. I'm doing marketing on this website for testing purposes to see whether I can indeed make some money online if I put in regular and concerted effort on one project.

So in addition to the above methods that I've shared, I'll also be taking some advice from our fellow warriors.

      I'll be:

Writing a free e-book and distributing this virally
Make my own you tube video and distribute to video submission sites
Make my own podcasts from articles

Combining all the methods, it'll be a good 2 or 3 months before I can start on my next project. I hope I can reach my goals.

      Thanks fellow warriors once again

Start your own list by giving away this free ebook or videos. Though it is not a overnight process, you can use this list for promoting your service/products.

Good luck! Simple and basic but very good plan you have it with you.

    Lydia,

You have a good action plan set up. The other ways that are effective for bringing more traffic are classified ads like craigslist. YOu can also have an ebay, youtube, twitter profile with a link back to your main site.

I would supplement with paid advertising like PPC or even some targeted text links/ banners

Having a unique WordPress theme or plugin (or numerous other similars) with your link being spread all over the world would be a good thing too...

All in all, I think the consensus is that you're off too a great start, and we'd be interested to hear how you fair !

What is "Isnare?" I went to the site but it looks a bit confusing. What I gather is I can pay $2 and have them distribute my article to "thousands" of article directories?

Is it even worth it? Well, I guess it may be as far as backlinks go? Is that the point of it?

      Hi,

It's my 1st time using isnare too. It's much cheaper than unique article wizard. I'm just using it for backlinks purposes.

I'd go to www.AlbertHallado.com and listen to the things he says. He put out a product called "Vegas Traffic Jam" a few months ago and it is about driving traffic to your blog.

He is an outstanding man and a fellow warrior. He has actually helped me out a lot with all kinds of blog related stuff.

Sounds like a ton of work you will be doing - which is cool - do you have the "All in One" SEO pack for your blog?

I'd recommend it as a bare bones minimum.

Hope all goes well with driving traffic to wherever you want them to go!

    Hi,
Good plan. For $10 you can put a classified ad on ebay in the niche for your blog. It will stay up for 30 days.
    Thanks,

    Lydia,

You may want to create a signature file for yourself in this forum. It
propagates real-time to whatever threads you've commented on even
    your own.

The signature should have links to outside domains you own.

    Cheers,

I am not sure your expertise in article marketing. But I will give you some advice, if you already know it then great, you are on the right track.

Of course the first and foremost, is choose the topic of your article by researching relevant keywords. The keywords should be targeted to being looking to buy. The basics of SEO pretty much. Take 2 or 3 keywords that relate to each other (or are VERY similar). Then spin the article around this. Try to aim for around 650 words or so.

Now when writing the articles do not spam your keyword. You want a density of about 3 - 4%, 1% being in the top third of your article. (again, basic SEO).
Now, in this article give out some free info, meaning over deliver. People love to be pretty vague in an article, to try and entice people to click their link in their bio. If you over deliver in the article, but do not give away the farm, a lot more people will wonder what more GREAT stuff awaits them on your site. (to me this is basic article marketing, when trying to sell something).

Now, make the article flow with your keyword density, and you may find that you will get more webmasters in the same niche wanting your article on their site as well. And since its always known that you must keep the bio intact, this will create more back links for you in return. (again basic article marketing knowledge)

Now, with that in mind, what you are doing should work out quite well. What I would add to that is create an optin for an autoresponder, to capture your visitors, this way, for that niche, you can create your own traffic, without needing to rely on things you can not control.

    =)

Hope this was helpful to you.

Good Luck, you are well on your way.

    Hi,

I would recommend you to use PPC marketing tactics - Gogole AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter.

This is the fastest way to get traffic. Maybe you have to invest some money upfront, but it pays back soon.

If you want to use free techniques, here are my top three:

    1. Social media and bookmarking - create an influencing profile and spread the buzz.

    2. Forum postings - post really useful posts.

    3. Viral videos - prepare a short video and spread it through video sites.

I hope this was helpful for you.

    Good luck!
