      Oh so basically I can find the link in the format of:

      http://affiliate.hop.clickbank.net
      Instead of:

      Code:
      http://24394d0kx2ok6sffk690jwob9.hop.clickbank.net
      Honestly, I don't see a use for this. If you want to find out the affiliate id of the person promoting the product, you can easily go to the order page and on the bottom of the page you will find:

      [affiliate = XXXXX]

      and that is true for any id encrypted or not.

    Yes you can find the affiliate id on the order page, but it`s a faster way. Also, that won`t show you the Vendor`s name.. if you want to buy a CB product through your own CB hoplink you can easily do it by encrypting the link, and using it the old way:

    affiliate.VENDOR.hop.clickbank.net

    I know this has no use. But you know, think about extreme cases. Let's say your affiliate site was hacked by someone.

    You have gained access to it, but you can't confirm if the affiliate link is still yours or not. Then you may use this tool, instead of going to the affiliate page, and downloading the hacker's cookie.

    (I know I'm talking all hypothetical)

      Yes it`s useless..for you. For me it`s a huge time saver.

      First of all I ONLY use the old type of affiliate links, couse it`s much easier to manage them for obvious reasons. And an other thing is I read a couple of warnings about (here on warriorforum as well) the encrypted links that they just do not work sometimes, they mess the links up, sometimes they end up with affiliate=none etc.

      I promote a few hundred CB products and I often change my affiliate id in the links (around 1000 links) to one of my other CB account affiliate id. ( don`t ask me why, but I have a very good reason ) The whole process takes me about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later all my earnings goes to my other CB account. I don`t need to edit any of my articles or anything, becouse the affiliate links are in separated html files for each product. I cloak the links on my own in these files.

      The thing is when you promote a lot of product you going to have a lot of affiliate links throughout your articles and you going to have a lot of problems to manage, update and keep track of them.

      Also on CB you can only create encrypted affiliate links, period, there is no tool for creating the normal affiliate.VENDOR.hop.clickbank.net way. I just showed you the way how to do it.

      PS: For me it`s hidden. Or would you show me where is a link on CB pointing to this page? You are very clever that you could Google it after I showed you, congrats.
