Any Ideas on How I can Market this Video

Hi all,

I've made this video today to help me market my site that deals with pornography addiction.


What do you think would be a good way to market it? Do you even think that it is a good marketing tool? Any feedback would be appreciated.

      i doubt it will get flagged as spam on youtube.
      The concept is built on the same principal that the viral video for HTC vs iPhone was released last year.

      The op should understand that if the community think it is worth it then it will go viral on its own.

      What I don't understand is who you are trying to reach. People with the addiction, or people who know people with the addiction? Because you need to take a different approach, depending on which group you want to connect with. And this video isn't going to connect with either group.

      And you need to work on script writing. A series of questions answered by No is not dramatically compelling. And you need some action and movement to accompany the words.

        I was actually hoping to reach general public in order to start a debate and conversations about some of the stuff out there...

        The way I imagined was that some people would watch it and eather realize that this kind of stuff exists, of if they do realize it exists may be question how normal it is to watch it,

        Btw, I did try to copy the Viral HTC movie,hence the somewhat monotonious script.

          OK, well if you want to start conversations among the general public then you definitely need a different approach. Preferably one that doesn't moralize quite so rigidly.

          For example, there's a guy sitting in front of a computer watching porn. A series of characters come running in and tell him to come and see something exciting outside - a parade! somebody giving away free cars! I don't know, make it over the top. And every time the guy at the computer just brushes the other person off because he can't drag himself away from his computer and his porn. He just can't help himself.

          I haven't seen the viral HTC video so can't comment.

          Anyway, just my thoughts.

      Yea, doesn't sound like many people will take it seriously... I miss again.

      Do you think it is just that my nich is not apealing to others, or that my delivery or aproach sucks?

    I think the niche is good, but this video, to become viral, should make me want to share it and maybe even watch it a couple times.
    Your niche has a lot of possiblities - and you're headed to the right destination, just need to get on a different track.

      Then its just my delivery... I guess this is good news because my delivery is something I can work on.

      My problem is that I have a very hard time predicting what people would find interesting. I.e. I thought this video would make people watch it many times and want to forward it.

        Yes, I think there is a delivery issue here. I'm not sure these characters and voices are the best way.

        Typically these characters are used in a comical way (for the most part of what I have seen) and you likely don't mean to be doing it but you are turning something which many would consider a very serious condition into something a bit comical.

        If I was truly promoting in this niche I would not use this video for anything.

          Well, I intended the video to be comical... but I guess I didn't realize that 99% of population would not have background or certain views to understand what is rediculous about this situation.

          Oh well, just another failed attempt. I guess it just bring me one step closer to finding something that will work.
