Advanced perspective on list building for first product launch
I am launching a brand new business in a great niche. I am going to launch the business through a product launch.
I would appreciate a few different perspectives, and models I could use to help me understand the big picture better. The way I see it, is I would pay, borrow, and create traffic; funnel them into a coming soon VIP notification list or something similar until my list is to the size I want. Then I can go ahead, and run a pre-launch A/R series.
My question is: If you were serious, and not just dinking around. And you are creating a real business, what traffic building strategies would you use to get your list to your acceptable pre-launch size in an amount of time that won't stale out the buzz?
My goal is to create large curiosity to a coming soon page with an opt in notification list, but the buzz is obviously time sensitive. This means I need to be able to control the amount of traffic, and subscribers to keep the buzz up, and run into my pre-launch material.
I would also like to add that we have access to funding. Money is not an issue, however smart use of it is.
Would you please give me your recommendation on a list building strategy for a product/business launch that is fast, quality and would ensure the traffic?
Thank you,
JD
