UPDATED: Bug in new Facebook iframes tab

If you've been setting up your own iframed app pages for Facebook fan pages as my team and I have been, you may find that there is a bug that has surfaced:

When someone visits your fan page but they aren't logged in to Facebook, the tab for your app page appears on the menu, but clicking that tab doesn't cause your app page to be rendered inside the iframe. In other words, if a person isn't logged in to Facebook, if they click your tab they'll see a big blank space in the middle of the screen.

Fortunately, this bug was uncovered since the release of the new iframed app tabs and my team and I have participated in testing the bug fix that Facebook has deployed in their beta environment. We've confirmed that in beta, this problem was corrected.

You may want to log out and try it yourself.

The good news: Facebook informed us that they intend to roll the bug fix out of beta and into the production environment this week. If you see this problem today (Tuesday) it may be gone before the week's end.

UPDATE:

***Latest info from Facebook team is that this bug fix will be rolled out within the next 24 hours ***
