How To Create Descriptive Listing on Amazon?

I confess, I'm no expert on Amazon. I've got a client who's looking for help with boosting his Amazon presence and asked for help with getting what he calls a 'descriptive listing' for his book. I'm not exactly sure what that is, but I notice that his book's listing doesn't display many of the details you would typically see for an Amazon listing, yet logging into his account I can't see anywhere to add that kind of information.

Did he publish the book through CreateSpace? If so, there should be an area where you can enter a "descriptive" description.

If he published it through some other channel and has listed the book on Amazon independently, so to speak, then I think this might help you:

Amazon now allows authors to add, edit book catalog details
