How can I embed a Youtube clip in my WSO thread?

    All you have to do is to insert the URL of your video. Then, (make sure you are in Advanced Mode--just to the bottom of your posting box) and make sure you have the two options below clicked to the ON function. That will get it done. --Good Luck! --Mike

    -automatically parse links in text

    -automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

      Hi traianturcu,

      Seeing as you want to put it in your thread, this comment by Paul in the "Why did my post get deleted" thread, may be worth some clarification...

      Videos as thread starters are being treated as articles and being deleted. We are not going to spend the time looking at every video someone posts to make sure it's not self-promotional, despite the poster's comments about the awesome content.
      Just read it and thought it was relevant.

          Yes they are. I found though that you can't add the No related videos parameter, it won't parse correctly.

        Richard I think you misread the thread.

        The OP wants to place a video in his WSO thread. What you said is totally different from that

    Hmmm..

    When I try to preview the code here the clip gets transformed into a video embed..

    However, when I try to preview is as a WSO thread, it converts it into a link, not into an object..

    Any ideas why?
