Lookingh for Help and Advice

I launched my web site 10 years ago as an information site, then an Internet Radio Station and never thought I would ever try to make money with it. Well as you can imagine and just the nature of the beast things changed. Last December I redesigned my site with the intent of making money and still offering information and Internet Radio. Currently I have over 1500 band/CDs that have been submitted over the 10 years and I'm adding them as time permits. That gives you a little back ground about how I got here so now for the questions.

1. Should I add all the music/bands with one quick add or should I add a couple of bands a week making it look like there is something new for the return visitors?
2. I've used Craigslist, Yahoo, and Google to attract visitors how can I tell which is giving me the best results?
3. How do I convert visitors in to buyers?
4. How do I set a value on ad space?
5. Are there color schemes that promote better sales results?
6. What other sites should I look at for Free or PPC advertising?

I have more questions but let's start here so I don't over whelm myself with information.

      Actually I disagree with the timing for raising money. The market is down, the economy is lagging and investors are looking for viable alternatives. If you look at history you will find that the longest recessions have only lasted 8 months and we are 13 months in to this recession.

      Quot from CNN:
      On Monday, the first of the two days in which the survey was conducted, private economists making up the National Bureau of Economic Research stated the economy has been in recession since December 2007. Only 10% of those polled said the nation is not in recession.

      I'm looking for help with my questions do you have answers for them? Comments are nice but not helpful if they don't relate to the question asked.
