Hi,

I got a simple question...

Is it possible to add my customers that sign up via Amember to one of my lists at Aweber.com?

How can I do that?

Thanks in advance

Actually, looks like its not possible to do since no one has replied. But there has to be some way all those who use Aweber are doing it...

    Please help, warriors.

I had an associate of mine ask the same question. The problem is two-fold:
    1. Amember is a coded in such a way that code modifications take too long to work out right.
    2. Aweber does not have a submission API (the closest thing is their Email Parser), but you can't modify the Amember notification email (see above) to make it work nicely with the parser.

So you need to go low-tech:

Place an AWeber optin form on the amember membership thank-you page and make manditory for membership (though there really is no way to enforce that - you can sweeten the pot, though, with a bonus or something).

That's what I did for him, and it worked out well. You may want to try that.

Just so you know, you need to place your AWeber form code on the following page on your site:

    /amember/templates/thanks.html

The best way to automatically subscribe someone to an email list is to use DLGuard with GetResponse. I already looked into Amember and Aweber, but there's no way to get this to work. Not that I've found, anyway.

I assume you want to use AWeber for it's deliverability factor; otherwise, you can use amembers own email functions to send messages to all users.

If you go that route, you really don't need to integrate AWeber.

The point is I have all my lists on Aweber... And I really want everything to be there.. Keeps it organized.

There is a plugin floating around that does integrate amember with aweber, but its not officially supported. aWeber requires an IP trail, so you cant have amember or any other script for that matter making the submission on the users behalf. Using the plugin could get your account canceled.

The only legit options are to place the aweber signup form before the amember signup form and pre-populate it using aweber info or placing it in the thanks page of amember and prepopulating it with amember data.
