Hey,

I lost a site on my favorites and can't find it. It was an auto surfing site that gave you points for auto surfing. Kinda worthless traffic but I was pushing a new YouTube video up through it and lost it. I had thousands of credits. It was a very short domain and started with the first word being "Traffic". It was Traffic (something) .com Anyone familiar with this one. I could really use the help here. Thanks in advance.

      Check your email accounts.

I am pretty sure they would have emailed you a user name and pass. And the domain might be found within the email.

OK, My head just went BOOM! Thanks, I have checked my emails but freakin no subscription/email confirmation links there for this. I checked all the names you alll supplied but not the right one. Geees there seems to be a lot of sites with that name "Traffic" to start. I am so close to figuring this out but can't seem to jar it.

I remember seeing worldprofit.com in their network of sites that came up but it is not them. Traffic freakin something. Gawwwd this is killing me. I just turned 40 on the 5th and first thing that goes seems to be the memory. OK, that sucks!

      Do you track stats?

Have you been sending any of the traffic to any of your sites?

You can try checking the stats of the Youtube video first and then check your own site stats.

This may help you find it.

When was the last day you went to the site. Check your history on that
          date and you'll find it.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Steven.

I have my history set up for three weeks for this reason: so I can find sites if I need them again.

I had cleared my history today and forgot to bookmark it. This is why I was screwed but never the less you are now all GODS in my book. One of you reminded me of referrer stats. I just now went to Godaddy and found it. It is TrafficCenter.com, so thank you all soooo much! Especially those that listed mega sites that it might have been. Gawwwwd I love this place! Thanks friends!

            Stay Golden, OK?

    Auto surf?

    Are you guys serious?

This is the disease of legitimate traffic exchanges.

These programs have done nothing but hurt our reputation.

Please use real traffic exchanges, with real people surfing them.

You should try legit traffic exchanges. Maybe all that 'garbage traffic' might surprise you. But I do agree , when it comes to auto surfs, it doesnt get much lower than that.

No, I was pushing a youtube video up for view stats. This is what I was beta testing. If the test goes south, then back to my newspaper ads I did really really well in.

      Thanks again.

were you sending them directly to you tube or via a page on your site. If on your site check your sites stats in the CP to see where your traffic came from. The url for the auto surf site should be in there.

I was just checking back to see if you found it... apparently not... I'm hoping my best you find it...

Makes me think... wouldn't it be nice if there was a "search" feature for your mind...

I bet G is working on that right now...

    - Jared

P.S. Don't keep us in suspense when you do find it (which i'm sure you will)...

By the way, BHF affiliate stats in my sig, still look promising

    Hi there,
Auto traffic sites are rarely worth it in the sense that the traffic they often 'deliver' comes in the form of fake traffic - such as bots. Anyway, any legit traffic exchange site will send you the subscription details on regisering at their site.
However, since you seem to be keen in locating this site, you can check out the following -
    a. has this site deliverd any traffic to your website, if so, you can use analytics to check out the source, some of the analytics services are quite detailed and provide you with everything including the ip address

    b. if you have just the ip address and want the site url, you can do a reverse look up online. There are a few sites that offer this service.

    c. If you require a few details about the traffic exchange site that you have registered to, you can do a WHOIS search, that generally throws up a lot of valuable info
just a few tips - hope that it works out

I am the owner of Trafficcenter.com and we updated our system to a manual exchange only. I agree Autosurf sucks and is a waste of time. It was my first TE.

Anyone is welcome to check us out now.

    Thanks
