I have have been talking to a developer about producing a flash game for either my website or for facebook.
I was looking into the idea as I was hoping that a game would attract some repeat site visitors (prioviding the game was good) and it is something that no one else in my niche has done yet.
Has anyone promoted a Flash game before either on their own website or on facebook and if so did it generate any benefits in terns of visitors? Is there any lessons that you learned or mistakes that you made that I need to avoid?
How can I get the most out of the game? Should I go down the Facebook or Iphone route or is there still scope for self hosted flash games?
