Top 5 iPhone Apps For Internet Marketers


I've had an iPhone for about a year now but I've only just started using apps so I thought I'd put a post together to let you know the top 5 apps that I've come across that I think are quite useful for us internet marketers.



  1. I Spy Analytics - This app connects with your Google Analytics account and lets you see everything you would in your Google dashboard including the number of visitors to your site, duration of visit, country of origin and how they got to your site. You can also view graphs, this app is very easy to use and it the menu layout is superb!
  2. Dragon Dictation - I have no idea how this app is free because it is amazing. This app effectively allows you to record your voice and transcribes it afterwards. The speech recognition is excellent and once you have recorded your message you can send it as SMS or Email it. You also have the ability to link the app with your Facebook and Twitter account and post your message through these social media networks.
  3. XE - This is a brilliant currency convertor app that lets you view live currency exchange rates. You can also calculate conversions to and from all the currencies in the world.
  4. Paypal - This is a great app to check payments coming in. You can also use it to make payments and manage your account.
  5. Facebook - This is the most popular social media app and an absolutely must for Internet Marketers. You can update your status, send and receive messges, check the profiles of your friends, add and request friends and much, much more!

        I use IExpenseIt, Things (THE best app by far, for me!!!), Skype, Headquarters (Basecamp's native is very good, too), Dropbox, iCurrencyPad, Instapaper, Reeder, Wordpress.

    I would recommend a remote desktop app as well, I use a lot of softwares for my websites to do various things so it's great for me to be able to login my computer from my iphone and check the statues of my software's while I'm away.

    I'm not great with smart phones but I was disappointed to see that my Android doesn't have a lot of comparable Iphone apps. May be time to finally switch over.

    Anyone know the Android equivalent of Dragon?

    I got one that logs into your Clickbank Master account and shows you all the earnings live.

    Handy if you've got multiple Clickbank accounts.
