Yes the War Room IS worth it, but not for the reason you think:

The major feeling that hits home when spending any time in the War Room section of the board isn't just a near-Christmas-morning delight from the incredible materials being offered, or the fantastic advice offered from some true experts in their field.

It's the altruistic giving mentality that is so present throughout post after post, by hundreds of people, that really makes you pause and ask yourself if you're doing all you can to help others who are struggling.

To see so much great (and heartfelt) emotion on display with no expectations of a return is amazing in any money-driven segment of society, and particularly in MMO where most of us have bitched for years over "this guru's blind sales page scam" or "that fraudulent software package" or what have you.

It's easy to only see the negative, but in reality the majority of the people who survive, profit, and LAST in this business for more than just a few months learned long ago that if you give someone what THEY want, they'll give you what YOU want...

It doesn't matter if it's a customer, a family member, a spouse, or even your dog, if you give them what they want, they'll give you what you want.

Somehwat similar to Kern's "reciprocity" concept, but in a more natural way.

THAT is the overriding theme of the War Room and why it's so ultimately "worth" the paltry entry fee. The blind faith that for every post, pdf, video, or other item you offer up for others to enjoy and use, you will get the help YOU need whenever that day comes.

If you're not a member of the War Room, you're potentially missing out not on some get-rick-quick guide, but instead on the positive mentality and outlook towards others that can quickly make the difference in your relationships, your business efforts, and your life in general.

So go ahead and click that button, sign up, start contributing, and feel the love today.

    Craig,

    Dead on!

There is NO REASON not to be a member of the War Room. It's filled with generosity and positive examples.

The regular forum can get negative and rough at times, but I've never seen that in the WR. It's awesome.

It was honestly shocking to me at first glance, hence the post.

Wonderful seeing people in that mental state of "We can do anything together so there's no harm in sharing things that help the group".

A rising tide lifts all boats eh?

      Amazing.

I agree with both of you completely. I joined as soon as I had the chance, and every time I come back after not visiting for a while, I ask myself why I don't check it out at least once a day.

What you said about the spirit of the place is absolutely true Craig; I really enjoy that aspect of it.

In addition, I second what you said about the content, with the only minor disagreement being that I think it's actually better than Christmas morning. Maybe your peeps give better presents than mine though-the Maserati I asked my brother for still hasn't arrived! (I even told him Joe Walsh might make him a good deal on an old 70s model that does 185, since he can no longer drive it-unless in the last 35 years, he's managed to get his license back).

I often think of the warroom when I see those desperate posts from folks wondering how they can make money for the rent next month with only $50 to spend upfront. I think you could do a lot worse than spending $37 on the warroom, and the other $13 for a domain and a $1 autoresponder trial account, with enough left to get a nice 500 word article written.

Everything you need, from automation software, to step by step instructions on ranking your site, to free squeeze page templates, is there for the taking (but be sure to say thanks, and if you like what you get, consider joining the person's list and maybe even buying something from them down the road-not telling you guys-just the desperate folks).

The only caveat is something that I and many others fight every single day, and that is the urge to keep learning cool new stuff everyday, to the detriment of your one main business plan.

I was already convinced that I need to join, but this just reinforces my feelings.
And if the "evolutionary leap" I get from joining is anything like the one that came from joining the regular WF then its definitely a smart move.

I'm thinking of joining as well. Don't you need to be a member to post WSO's?

Yes, you have to be a member of the War Room in order to post a WSO (Warrior Special Offer).

I joined the WarRoom and have to honestly admit that, besides the free software give aways that I never use (such as the last one that was just "some guy's" list building tool), most of the information is the same stuff you get in the main forum...

...sorry to rain on anyone's parade...just what I feel is an honest assessment...

Interesting. My assessment is the complete opposite of yours. I used to moderate the forum so I can honestly say out of the hundreds of threads I've approved, I found most of the information in there stuff you can't find in the main forum, at least not with the same detail.

How many products did you actually look at in there and actually implement? Just curious.

My experience has me agreeing with Rod.

My biggest challenge was/is going to the War Room when/if I need it for specific information on something I'm working on, and not killing 3 hours once I'm in there.

One of the best IM investments I've made.

Sorry but I would have to totally disagree with you on this.

Most of the stuff in the War Room you won't find anywhere else and if you did it would

Come with price tag. Oftentimes it won't be even as good.

Seriously the War Room is like buying all the best money making methods available
On this planet for damn on time fee with free updates for life!

P.S. Did you know that one thread in there ONLY ONE has helped me make at least 3k per month every month man. That's from one thread not even an ebook or a video course none of that. And it was since 2008!!

Good sir, I do believe you have sold me. You should contact the WF admins about being put on some sort of affiliate program

Edit: And I'm now a member. Let's see if my life changes and I start finding huge stacks of money underneath the couch cushions.

I concur with the general feeling.

The advice can mean everything...often the difference between failure and success for a project. Giving is usually even better than receiving, because it reinforces your knowledge and brings to light certain items to use for your next project.

When I first found the special offers forums my first thought was "no way I can make a lot of money if I just buy some of these things".

Then I realized you can only do that without about 1% of them.

And then 99% of my expecations for the warroom just fell right through the floor at that point I won't lie. Plus the way the link is placed strategically on the bottom right to trick newbies into clicking it 500 times a day (I've been here a month or 2 and still click it at least 10 times a day) has just rubbed me the wrong way.

I don't know just seems like insecure overpromotion to me.

When I joined the War Room after spending 30 mins in there I was like "Whooaaaa"! This place is "Off the Chain"! *lol* I really felt as though the recent mods to the regular membership side were predatory to say the least. but once I joined and began to experience it for myself, I now
understand why they made those changes. No more "gaming the system"!

The waters warm, come on in! JOIN THE WAR ROOM!!!

      Sincerely,

      Excel

Like the OP, I was amazed at what people were sharing in the War Room. And I feel it was an excellent investment ... but not for the same reasons as the OP .

I love learning about new things related to what I'm doing, and that is to me, the true value of the War Room. As the OP stated, the War Room is a very giving community.

Truthfully, I use very little of what I read in the War Room as it isn't directly related to what I need to know. As probably most of us know, it can be very distracting to what we need to be doing right now .

BUT, it is the first place I go when I'm getting ready to branch out or need to know about unfamiliar IM topics.
