Google's Content Network ... Worth It?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using the Google content network with display ads. I'm paying just 4 cents per click for these large display ads which I think is great.

Just wondering if my money should best be spent on the search network instead. The price per click will be much higher, but the ROI may be greater as well.

Any insights?

    The question is: Are you making a profit...if you are, it's great then...just keep on keepin' on.

    One tip though: sometimes content ads work better with site placement.

    I think so, at times I do really well with niches there.

    I looked at my conversions over 2 years and content ads are converting at a cheaper cost per sale then search ads.

    Of course, the content ads are less expensive so it takes a lot more clickthroughs per sale, but overall they are still more effective for me.
