Dumb WF Advertisement Questions

I could use some basic advice:

1) How do you edit a WF ad's headline after it's gone live? I have an ad in Warriors For Hire, and I can see how to edit the ad, but not the headline.

2) My ad looks ugly-other than changing the font, and text colors, any tips on making it look nicer? If I find a nice graphics program, can I just use it and copy and paste it in, and have it look good like it does in the program? Or is there a better way?

3) Is it kosher to change the offer completely once the ad's live? If someone is already a client, I know I should offer them the choice of switching to the new deal, but is it even okay to rewrite every word, including the offer and price?

Thanks in advance, Greg

I'm pretty sure once your ad goes live you can only change the body, not the headline.

      1. Yes, you can change the title. There are two ways to do that.

If you are on the index page, simply double click (or right click...I always forget which until I have to do it again) in your title and you will be able to edit it.

Or when you click edit for your ad, click it a second time and you will have more options, including editing the title.

A tip about formatting your ads - use Chrome when you edit or post ads and you won't have the formatting issues that you do with IE or FF.

      2. What I've done is to have my sales page all done and then take screenshots and use those in the ad. You can't just paste in images. You link to the images on your own server.

      3. Changing the entire ad is not recommended. If you wish to go with a completely different offer, you should close the first ad and spring for another. You can make some changes, such as raising the prices, but if it's a whole new offer, you are supposed to get a new ad.

        Thanks Tina,

I'm thinking maybe the easiest thing would be to use a squeeze page maker I just got to create the ad, then past it in, although I still have to learn to use the page maker. The content would be in the form of a standard HTML file. Do you think that would work?

Also, I did a horrible job of writing the sales copy, and I might reduce the price. It wouldn't be a whole new offer, but presented in a tighter, less rambling style, with bullets instead of just a long rambling letter. Would that be kosher? The service offering would be the same, but the copy much different, and maybe the price too.

        Cheers, Greg

Thanks again for your help, Greg

The squeeze page maker might work. Honestly don't know on that. Try it out in the test forum and see.

As long as the offer is the same, there is no problem with tweaking the copy. I've done it plenty of times without issue.
