Biz website vs. Facebook - pros & cons
What reasons do you give offline clients to have a strong website presence?
I'm getting my feet wet meeting with some local biz owners re: online marketing. I meet with a unique gift, art, and home consignment boutique this coming week. They have a static 'website' that doesn't even have a 'contact us' link. They have an active FB fanpage where they feature the latest merchandise. I doubt they do much else. They are low budget operation.
My understanding with the FB changes to iFrames is FB content will no longer be searchable by the search engines. It's all about FB relationships and sharing the fanpage with other friends. Therefore optimizing a biz website becomes more critical as does other types of online marketing to get them traffic.
