A few newbie software and hosting questions

Hi there, looking for relatively inexpensive mix of software/services for backlinks, article submission etc. So far am looking at:
  • ArticleMarketingAutomation.com
  • Traffic bug
  • BuildMyRank
  • Article Marketing robot
  • ArticleRanks
  • The link juicer
Any comments, recommendations etc?

Also, what a decent US based hosting service for creating wordpress implementations easily and quickly and low cost?

Much appreciate warriors input please

You really should spend some time and use the search facility (menu bar above) and read the thousands of posts on these subjects.

One problem in starting out and asking - what do I do now? leaves you wide open to everyone trying to punt their own stuff and to responses from people who aren't always as knowledgable as they like to think.

Your question is about backlinking and hosting.
So easy answer hostgator or bluehost are both cheap, well established, well used hosting companies. Both do free installation sof Wordpres via Fanrtastico and Simple Scripts. I presume they are US based.

It's worries me that you asked about backlinking but nothing about keyword research, Domain name selection, on-site SEO.

The reason I say that is because if you haven't mastered those you will find your backlink requirements are going to be condiderably more and in many cases a waste of time.

Master these first and you will need much less backlinking, and so less requiremnt on backlinking software etc taht can easily get you into grief if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

Learn the foundation stuff and build on it and you will be successfull. Try and jump a few steps and fill in with "Google unfriendly" systems and you will fail.

Again search the forum and get to know this stuff. Sure you will see conflicting ideas but at least then you will be in a position to make sensible assements of your own.

It raelly is the way to go.

    Best of luck

For hosting, I use hostgator too and have nothing but great things to say about them.

I second what Tony Marriot says about keyword research and onsite optimization. You can really save yourself a lot of wasted time and effort if you learn those first (I wish I had). Market Samurai is a great tool for keyword research and seo pressor is a great plugin to teach you onsite seo. Both a bit pricey, but what isn't in this business...

As for the products that you mentioned, I have article marketing robot and I love it. It is a great tool, it's quick and easy to use, and it gets great results.

They are probably the best hosting provider, they have great customer support and you can't really complain about anything. If you intend on multiple domains you can get their "Baby Plan" for just $7/month for unlimited domains.

If you need to register a domain, I recommend NameCheap (probably the best domain registrar), they are simple and straightforward. You also get a free 1 year WhoIs Guard Protection (so that you don't get spammed and your personal information is protected) together with a free 1 year Comodo PositiveSSL certificate.

I've found that Hostgator and bluehost are the only two hosting companies that are very willing and able to help with ALL hosting challenges, no matter if they seem trivial or too "dumb".
Great customer service justifies the 1- 3 minute on phone wait-period!
