That's a scam, Selling free information.

I have noticed many people all over the internet have been calling scam! at a lot of products these days. Usually a key reason they call something a scam is because they say the information can be found online for free. First off many times the info may be free, but is presented in such a way, a formula if you will that maximizes said information's potential. The other thing is that free information is sold all over everyday and no one calls that a scam. Examples are college research books, maps, ect. My experience is that people are lazy and don't wanna research things. They want everything right now!

What do you guys think? Has someone ever called your product a scam, because you simply present available information but in a better way?

now days people use the word "scam" just to get others to click on their ad as you may have seen in Sponsor Ads of Google and other places but now Big G is cutting it out and crating a much cleaner place for its searchers.

Aww..shocks, Some people had the impulse thought of saying "scam!" if they dont like the way we present a product. Should the customers be always right?

The word scam is generally overused and abused. Many people don't even seem to know what it actually means anymore, and in the case of information that's presented in a different manner/perspective, it isn't a scam - there's really no new information that's truly unique anymore, and pretty much every idea and concept have been touched on before somewhere else, so if you were to call information that's presented from the creator's perspective a 'scam', then you could say the same for 99% of content out there!

    Yes, they have.

My traffic generation product has 80 pages of information and links to over 200 online resources.

Someone called it a scam, swearing they could get all the same info with Google, as if they really could.

    LOL

I sell a lot of public domain works online which can be gotten for free, I spend hours gathering all the necassary information and weeding out the useless ones, i usually let my customers know the information can be fond for free online and they are welcome to spend hours trying to compile it. However if they feel they 3 hours of their time is worth more than what I am asking they will buy from me.

Free information has been sold for ages, take the bible for instance best selling book of all time contains free information. Nobody questions paying for the print version cause they can see , feel and touch the physical version.

Convert it to digital format and a lot of people will think it should be free, but they forget the amount of time that goes into scanning it and editing it so the english is more compatible with today's world.

People need to be aware that a lot of time and work goes into creating a good digital product.
