Issues facing Canadian sellers / marketers
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience selling from a company incorporated in Canada.
I'm specifically interested in product sales to the US. For example, if my product were a 5 volume DVD set and workbook that cost $100 and someone in California bought it.
My experience with having things shipped from the US to Canada have not been good. Brokerage charges and duties make it an undesirable hassle.
What happens if the fulfillment center or production* and fulfillment center is located in the US? How do I account for the profits and applicable state tax given that the intellectual property is mine but it is produced in the US and sold to someone in the US? This particularly raises questions if the production / fufillment and the buyer are all in the same state.

* can anyone recommend any "production and fulfillment center" who will produce product based on PDF files, DVD .iso files, and design images for packaging? I read somewhere that such services existed but can't seem to find the source that I read it from or any such outfit.
