    I used to partner in running a website that was based on trading shares on the Australian stock exchange. I had a newsletter sent out weekly with the latest news and share tips (what to buy, what to sell, what to hold, etc.)

    At the time I sold the website, I had around 27,000 subscribers. The newsletter was free but the main money came from people upgrading to a paid membership where they could get more advanced stock tips on a daily basis.

    I sold 2 advertising spots per newsletter for around $400 per spot.

    I am not sure if you are wanting to buy advertising in peoples newsletters or if you are looking for people to advertise in your own newsletter. If you are wanting to know my experience in the latter, I used to contact relevant companies directly and ask them if they wanted to advertise.

      I am actually looking for people who sell advertising in their newsletters, because I am looking to buy.

    Me and Eddie run a print newsletter and CD of the month type club - we don't sell advertising - but I have a few offline clients that do this - what are you interested in?

      What it boils down to is that I go to a number of the "Newsletter Directories" online, and over half of the listed publications are out of business, and the other half have information that is years out-of-date.

      I am searching for accurate data to find newsletters where I can buy advertising to promote my IM Products.

      I was hoping this thread would encourage some publishers to step forward and share their information with myself and other potential advertisers.
