Winning The Battle Against Doubt!

Lets face it, we ALL have doubts

This is especially true when starting something new

The thing is that doubt itself is not what destroys you....it is the way that you react to the doubt that is the deciding factor whether you succeed or fail

When it comes down too it, we all have doubts about starting a business online

IT IS JUST SOMETHING EVERYONE ENCOUNTERS

Do you know what I think the two reasons most people do not succeed online?

Well the first is that people do not have the proper education to get started and they never START.

The second reason is that they make the wrong decision when it comes down to dealling with their doubt.

You either JUST GET OVER YOUR DOUBT!!! or
.....you give up fail.

Do you want to know a little secret?

Most people really like doubt!

Let me explain. Doubt gives people an excuse to not get over their lazy butts.

When is the last time you have heard: "It is to hard, I cant do that-I'm not good enough. I do not have the time, and I am not talented enough"?

The truth is it is very useful to convince yourself that you can not do something.

The same applies to internet marketing.

YOU JUST HAVE TO GET OVER BEING SCARED AND PUT SOMETHING TO ACTION!!

Now do you see the difference?

So many people see a problem and immediately give up.

The truth is you have a choice. Most people using the internet know, the huge amount of FREE information there is.

There is no other business that you can learn so fast and apply it with VERY little costs.

Ultimately your choice will determine whether you fail online or not.

So, fight that doubt and just DO SOMETHING.

This is one of the best posts I've seen on here for a while. The message is very powerful because I know how it felt to doubt myself and be scared of selling.

That's the reason I waited so long to create my own product (WSO)

What if ppl didn't like it? What if I get a refund request? OMG not a refund request. Then I finally got my first refund request. Felt like the end of the world but now I am over all of that fear of selling crap that holds most people back.

I feel it's a huge barrier newbies need to break early on and if you can break it early then you're miles head in the game.

Great post and thanks for sharing.

    Cheers

Thank your for the good feedback.

I feel exactly the same way. The internet is the strongest marketing tool, the world has ever seen. You just have to get over the doubt and get to work.

I hope this thread helps a lot of newcomers.

That's like telling a fat person - "hey, get over your need for food and be healthy!"

Sounds logical but is not easy for people hearing the advice to actually implement.

That is the thing about advice.

The battle with doubt is a very hard one. But it is one only you can fight.

Do you not agree that this is the hardest art of starting an online business?

This is why so many people fail at it.

        I don't agree entirely.

It's definitely not a problem I had when I started - I didn't know enough about online business to realise I could fail so fear of failure was never an issue to start with.

    Here's the thing about "doubt":

You feel WORSE when you avoid taking a specific action BECAUSE OF
    the feelings of "doubt"

...because you never really know what success you COULD have had
until you conquer that "feeling" we all fear most...

    and that is uncertainty

Here's another thought that surprises many...

as an entrepreneur, you HAVE no room for "doubt".

Sometimes, doubt can keep you out of trouble -- but more often than
not, it keeps you far away from everything -- including any chance of
    success.

Doubt certainly has it's place...but not if you want to grow and expand
yourself to be something greater than you are now.

    It's kinda strange...

every time I go out of my way to make conversation with total strangers,
I always "doubt" their in the mood to hold a conversation -- which would
put the breaks on more than 90% of the relationships I have now...often
times, my doubt was proven wrong...and I wonder what kind of person I
would be if I always chose "inaction" on what I WANT to do and say...

versus ACTION that gets me results.

    Another example is doing "magic".

I love doing magic for myself and for others, the obvious doubt is that
some people might think it's "corny", or childish...but the opposite is
    true:

It never gets old. It's RARE to see. All walks of life love it no matter how
"childish" it is because there will always be something inside of us that
makes us want to believe -- doesn't matter if your 8 or 80 years old.

People want to be around people who can put their feelings of "doubt"
and "uncertainty" in the back of their mind and DO what they want to
    do...

anyway. REGARDLESS of the imagined consequences, which 9 times
outta 10 -- will never come about...

because when it comes to magic, it gives you a LOT more benefits than
you think. It gives you personality, it MAKES you more confident, it adds
a sense of mysteriousness and curiosity people are naturally attracted
to and -- you become better person for yourself despite your feelings of
    "screwing things up".

Because, even if it does (and it DOES!), it's hardly as bad as you think and
you will still make a new friend (or lover) for facing your fears of "doubt" &
    blotching a magic trick.

It's the same way in business. You get a LOT more credit for actually doing
it and FAILING than you do for avoiding the inevitable learning process of it
    all.

No one respects the person who runs away, and ironically -- even if you'd
never admit to it -- you won't respect yourself.

I always feel good about the decisions I make regardless if it turns out the
way I expected, better than expected, or worse than expected -- because
in the end I feel GOOD that I acted on my first thought and instinct and did
    it "anyway".

And...in the end, that's all that counts.

Luckily, facing your doubts almost ALWAYS lead to success -- that's a good
    thing

Learning to park the doubt and live with it is something every entrepreneur needs to do.

The bottom line is there is no certainty of success so you need to learn to live with that. And it never really goes away because of the constant decision making you need to do.

That said, sometimes you've got to pay attention to that little voice that's telling you your latest and greatest idea is a turkey because sometimes it's right.

    Cheers,

    Neil
