Do you write your e-mail messages yourself?

I have e-mail lists in several niches in several languages, and I see, that not every one of them are converting well. Since I'm not native english, it's hard for me to write good-converting marketing e-mails in a foreign language. I'm starting a new IM-related list in the following days, therefore I was thinking about outsourcing it to someone who can write better then me.

Does anybody do the same? Do you think it's a good idea, or should I rather write in my own style and outsource only the editing of the messages?

    My simple advice...

Either always write the material yourself or always outsource it.
(We write all of our own emails.)

Also, have you literally tested conversion rates? If not, it might
be worth it to outsource. Try not to go with your gut. Test!

Email marketing is an art. Your list will respond in context
to how you built the list - so ideally it's best to write emails
yourself but it can be a lot of work to keep people reading
and get and keep them in a state where they are inclined
    to buy from you.

I write a lot of email copy - sometimes for clients - most of
it long-form... because I have found the more I write the
    more they click.
