Who can you happily recommend people should listen to?

Hi Warriors,

While at a uk IMer lunch last week someone asked me "who do you trust and can recommend I should listen to".

I remember when I could real-off a bunch of great people but this time I found it a lot harder.

Having been in IM for over 10 years I've seen a lot of people come and go and many that seemed excellent turn out to be disappointing.

So now when someone asks about UK marketers I would recommend the list is very short.

The 4 people I know well enough to feel good about recommending are:

Martin Avis
John Taylor
Lee McKintyre
Robert Puddy

I know there are lots of other UK markers but these guys are the only ones that I've personally met and still feel good about recommending as great people to learn from.

I may have missed someone but my point is that this list is very short now.

So - for the benefit of others looking for a bigger list - who can you recommend and have personal experience of?

Andy

For UK marketers, I can think of Bev Clement.

Also James Penn who is a rising star. Really liked his recent eBook on list building.

UKC marketers I'd listen to? Well, there's Lassie, of course. After that, it gets a bit thin...

      Fang
      Hooch
      Toto
      Beethoven (when he's not drinking)
And, of course, Frank (from MIB)

      Sorry. That's all I got.

      Paul

PS: I know, I know. But Wellard and Shep were posers.

So were Lassie, Hooch, and Frank. So what? The UKC is an internati (Huh? What's... Oh!)

          Never mind.

Paul: Since I have no idea what you are talking about, I'm afraid I'm going to have to report this post to the mods.

Okay, my sense of humor is a bit wacko this morning - must go and inhale another cuppa coffee to jumpstart ye olde anatomy.

In the meantime, I'm going to recommend UK Warrior, Rosetrees!
