HELP! Total Newbie Needs Blog info!

Hi there, I just have some questions about blogging/getting traffic.
If someone out there can point me in the right direction to find this info or tell me that would be great!

I need info on RSS feeds, how to use them etc.
I'm not positive on how to utilize them for traffic on a blogger blog.

The best way to use your RSS feed is to build links back to your site. These links will increase your ranking in the search engines.

You take your RSS feed url which is: http://freesmallhouseplans.blogspot..../posts/default

and submit it to RSS feed directories. Here's a list:
RSSTop55 - Best Blog Directory And RSS Submission Sites - Robin Good' Sharewood Tidings

Now every time you update your blog the directories will update atomatically, meaning that you get new backlinks automatically.
