Agreed. premiuminvestor, You should answer this before you keep looking for the next EzineArticles (if such thing will ever exist). Seriously.

I think that a good choice will be doing guest blogging. The problem is that most bloggers will require that you send them an article that has not been published before. Still, if their traffic is high and targeted it should be worth the hassle

Why world village? You gotta get better with the titles, resource box ctr and keyword research, and seo overall because Ezine is the #1 article site even with the supposed Google slap. I do suggest trying out a new place and Jeremy is highly respected here but I don't suggest leaving Ezine.

World village actually ranks very well right now across a couple of niches, and has been slowly climbing the ladder over the past 30 days or so.

I have also noticed this. WordVillage is being climbing the serps for some time (even before the EzineArticles slap, as some call it). But I would not put my hopes on it. As soon as Google notices that they are trendy among internet marketers, the hammer will hit them as well.

Got no problem with all that bro, have diff accounts with hundreds of articles with ezinearticles, just noticed that traffic is seriously dwindling these days and trying to explore other options.

Also have no problem with writing great content. I run an article writing biz and have a team of writer that works with me.

Ezine articles has 100 times more traffic than world village so you are at the right place but like Alexa stated more details are necessary for your purpose of writing the articles. Great place for outsourcing is : Hire Filipinos - Find Online Workers in the Philippines | EasyOutsource

Look for sites that reward quality. DaFind.com, there's a bunch of them where you can add graphics, do formatting, and sometimes even get paid. Just get creative in looking beyond a basic article directory. You can also use blog sites like WordPress.com.

That depends on your niche, the quality of your writing, what your intent is with your articlesa dn other variables.

If you are just looking for a place to submit articles for the sake of submitting then start expanding beyond EZA with a few other directories but I would still keep EZA as part of your article marketing campaign.

You can conduct searches for blogs related to your niche and offer articles with the intent to be a guest blogger.

If you are looking to submit articles for syndication purposes then you may need to restructure how you write your articles but that may be part of your problem with EZA right now anyway.

Thanks for the info re: Articlesbase. In case anyone doesn't know, the 7 niches EZA identified in their Over-Saturated Niche Decisions blog post are:

I use Articlesbase.com - I just submitted the article that Ezinearticles rejected because it wasn't 'original or informative enough', and it was accepted by articlesbase straight away. Admittedly it's not in one of the taboo niches but it still wasn't good enough for Ezine!

I have not received feedback yet that they have gotten their accounts reinstated.

However, they did send an email asking for details on what caused the suspension and what they needed to do in order to have their account restored back to normal.

For now, if anyone is planning on submitting articles to EZA I would focus on quality content and avoid the niches they deem as being oversaturated.

I think the MAJORITY will get their accounts back if they want them. I've talked to a few that have been reinstated...

EZA will more than likely ask you to go into your account and DELETE any article that you think doesn't meet their new guidelines - more or less they want the users to clean up the directory....once you delete all of the articles YOU think don't meet their guidelines, they take a quick look and either tell you that you need to delete some more or reinstate you.

This is what I've heard from a few different people who had their accounts suspended and then reinstated.

            Jeremy,
I've also heard that is what is taking place. Seems a bit wierd but I guess if that's how they want to handle it.

I like the part about deleting what YOU think doesn't meet their guidelines. Seems like would be more efficient to just tell authors what articles need to go and then let them delete those instead of going on a goose hunt.

Also some authors may not even care about getting reinstated so do those poor articles stay in the mix?

Interestingly enough with Articesbase.com doing something similar we don't hear much about it from authors.....I need to go and see if they have their own blog that they post this type of information on much like EZA does.

Here's a link to the current Articlesbase blog post re: the Farmer update, the types of articles they were targeting for deletion and changes in their article submission guidelines:

Changes in Google's Search Engine Algorithm | ArticlesBase.com Blog

FYI, Articlesbase is focusing on detecting and deleting "spun" articles. According to the post, they're uping their uniqueness threshold by 15% (of course there's no mention of how unique your articles must be). So if you're submitting spun articles there, they're probably going to have to be high quality ones that make sense.

IMO to find an alternative to EZA that's viable/valuable to you for what you use article marketing for and for the niche(s) you're operating in, you're going to have to research & experiment with different directories.

I'm in agreement that Article base is pretty good, and as a warrior above stated, easier to get approved than Enzinearticles. I didn't realize though, until reading this thread, that they probably deserve more credit than I had previously granted them.

Before I get started I want to say that I love EzineArticles and I still haven't had any problems submitting to them. I can't tell "yet" if my traffic from submissions has gone up or down since the update.

With that said, I think they're between a rock and a hard place. Buzzle got hit just as hard if not harder and they require 500 words per article and it has to be unique. So all the people saying they like the new requirements and that it will help EZA become stonger how is that so? It didn't help Buzzle much.

The sad reality is that if EzineArticles disappeared tomorrow Google wouldn't even blink. They would hardly notice a drop in Adsense revenue from losing EZA.

It reminds me of what Google Adwords did to affiliate marketers a few years ago.

There were people spending 100k per month and they still got axed. When you have Fortune 500 Corporations spending millions per month why would you waste time with the little guy?

I obviously doubt anything would happen but I am just saying that Google doesn't cater to anyone. They've even slaughtered the rankings of J.C. Penny for not completely following the rules and I'd say they're considered a big guy.

There is nothing that says they wouldn't get rid of all the article marketing directories. Not to say it would happen but I am not saying it would be impossible either.

I watched all of the Adwords affiliates cry and say Google was going to pay and lose a lot of money from dropping them. Here we are 3 years later Google is stronger than ever.

I checked WorldVillage and the first two articles which I got to see were low quality and promotional. It might be rising slowly but I think they should clean all that clutter or else Google will slap them as well.

Coming to the main question, I think Buzzle is also a very good alternatives. I've always found quality there.

I'd never checked out WorldVillage before but when I visited this morning for the first time I found exactly the same thing. The first article I saw there was full of spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes and probably not even 100 words.

That wasn't even the worst one - there really seems to be an awful lot of spam. I was going to check out the rules, but from reading a few of the articles it really looks like anything goes.

Articlebase and Goarticles for a while right now. I wont want to worry too much with the new strict rules of EZA.

Just to add a quick word: WorldVillage, like ArticlesBase, is NoFollow on self-serving links for those that care about such things.

use do follow blogs, article marketing sites such as ezinearticles creates greater back-links and much higher traffics than of the others since they have a mass of daily viewers/readers and as well as much more loved by google than of the others...

P.I., stick with ezinearticles. change each article a little especially the title, first paragraph and ending of the article and submit them to other data bases. Article city is a good one.

The reason for the change is to keep you're article from turning up in to many places on the web.

Search engines like Google doesn't like duplicate content.

yeah agreed. EZ takes an age to approve articles, and there's no way I'm paying $90+ a month for the privilege. I've started using GOArticles and Article Base and they have been good. I try and focus on ones that have a high pr and that can take a lot of heat via back linking.

In terms of EZ though, no matter how many backlinks I've fired at ones of my articles I've never had one pulled. Where not talking 100K but still a couple thousand over a week.
