Do Clickbank hoplinks give pr juice?

just something I've always pondered. I'm guessing the pr juice just all goes to CB, am I right?

    Yes, since the links are to CB's domain, they can't possibly do anything for you PR-wise.

      Which is why it's probably a good idea to 'rel="nofollow" outgoing hoplinks to ClickBank (so that you don't leak PR juice to somewhere you don't want it to go).

    ummm I'm going to disagree with everyone here.

    hoplinks DO pass pagerank.

    why?

    because 301 permanant redirects pass pagerank according to common knowledge everywhere on the net.

    if they didn't nobody could ever change domain names for a site.

    and as far as I can tell hoplinks are 301 PERMANENT redirects

    PR doesn't help your rankings anyway, its just a method Google uses to determine which sites are more authoritive then the others.

    It still requires backlinks, quality content, age, ect... to get your site ranking.

    I wouldn't worry about it, not a big deal.
