Ezine is Getting Impossible

I recently submitted a 100% written by me article to Ezine. As the article is my first post on my new blog I have spent quite a bit of time on the subject. The subject is based on a Clickbank product so you would expect other articles on the same product.
Ezine rejected my article citing duplicate content. If you put the two articles side by side you can see that they are both about the same thing but you can also see that there was no plagerism involved. I asked Ezine to compare the two. They said they did but to no avail.
They told me that every month from here on out they are going to get tougher and tougher on duplicate content. With their new guidelines, I don't see how anybody can write an article on a product that has already been promoted.
I told them that I could re-write the article but I am sure the result would be the same.
I really don't see how I can submit any more articles to Ezine as it would just be wasting my time.

Don't give up on a site getting 8 million views monthly. You can't submit to your site first and then to ezine. You have to do it in opposite order because the first to put it up gets the Google link juice. Rewriting it would get it approved. Don't let that small stuff frustrate you.

Yes you can submit to your site first and it makes common sense to do just that. Why build up somebody elses site before your own?

You can, and you SHOULD submit to your own site first. Even Ezinearticles will tell you that. Surely you would want your own site to get this Google 'link juice' rather than someone elses?

PatriciaJ that is how Ezine rejected her article because she tried to do the whole copy and paste thing from her site to ezine. Ezine has a high page rank and can actually do wonders for traffic to your site. Ezine is very strict with needing original content. You need to submit to them first because they do a quick search to see if its anywhere else.

this is new to me. EZA always asked you to be the real owner of your content, not to post completely original content.

the natural sequence has always been: your site, EZA, and the others...

      when did this change?

If you read the original post again it says

'If you put the two articles side by side you can see that they are both about the same thing but you can also see that there was no plagerism involved.'

That to me means that his article was compared with one already on there. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like to me.

Where does Ezine tell you to submit to your own site first?

I´m not sure how to answer this... are you serious?

what EZA dreams about is your unique original content, what it accepts is a different thing.

where does EZA say that it will not accept content if the copyscape reveals you posted it under your own name somewhere else?

this has been like this for years. Of course, things change.

It doesn't. And it also doesn't say that you have to submit to ezinearticles first. It's up to the author. As previous people have said there is good reason to submit to your own site first and then to ezine. That is not a reason for them to reject an article.

They don't tell you that you HAVE to submit to your own site first, but they do accept articles that are on your own site first, as long as they are 100% exclusively owned by you.

Check out their terms and conditions, their blog, their Twitter feed etc for more information on this.

just how many EZA threads do we have to have on this forum?

I bet i can count 10 or so in the last 24 hours, why not add to the ones running already instead of choking up the forum with yet another one

Point taken. I always submitted to Ezine articles first because they are a page rank 6 and I had page rank 0 or 1 at most. It made more sense to use the article on Ezine to build backlinks for SEO. I am ignorant in some areas and I admit not knowing you can submit to your site first and then to Ezine. Thanks. To get articles approved on Ezine just read them out loud to yourself and make sure spelling and grammar is correct and you should have no problem.

They also just lifted minimum words amount to a article - 400 is minimum now.
Only one reason they do it - because having not enough traffic to keep E users online, because web expands, and they cant deliver enough views to articles, so they try to stop the flow of an articles and just don`t care too much about it...
