Please Help - Working Hard But Frustrated and Making No Money

I have been trying to make money online off and on for the past 5 years. I was in college for most of the time and made a few hundred dollars here and there when I had social network bots that worked, etc. and drove some traffic. But, that never lasted.

I have been working the past two months or so for about 5 hours a day trying to make money online. I took the Mass Money Makers course and was really inspired by it and of course thought I would soon be making money.

However, I still haven't made a dime. I found what I thought were some great keywords. The first one I targeted (according to Google keyword search tool) gets over 650,000 searches per month and only had 4,000 something competing pages. So, I got the exact keyword.com domain, built a squeeze page and a blog, posted articles to the blog and to all the main article sites, and even hired 2 people overseas to do backlinking. Two weeks later I saw no improvement in the SEO rankings.

I gave up on this site because I didn't see it going anywhere and found a keyword for a Clickbank niche that according to the Google keyword tool gets over 200,000 searches a month and only has 300 or so competing pages. I got to the first page of Google and near the top now for this keyword in about a week. However, I still get absolutely no traffic to my site and no leads or sales.

My Clickbank account just sits on 0. It's really depressing and really frustrating. Now I'm still promoting that blog and trying some forum marketing but who knows if that will work.

I am reaching out to everyone here in hopes of you setting me straight and telling me what I must do to make money.

If there is any experienced warrior who makes good money online and would be willing to mentor me, I would be in debt to you for life. Making $100 a day would be a huge thing for me and I know it's attainable I'm just not doing it. I am very smart and computer savvy and have a lot of great ideas. If you would be willing to form a partnership and train me I know I would pay off for you big time in the future. Please think of me as an investment and consider helping me! I will persist until I succeed!

      Dear flyer, I suspect the reason that you are not getting good search engine rankings despite your persistent efforts is because of some insufficiencies within your On-page SEO, as well your site structure. But in any case, I would be more than willing to assist you in any way possible..

        This is the weirdest post I have ever read. There is no 650,000 searched keyword on the planet that you would buy for any less than 50,000-300,000$.

        Seo takes time and there are so many different factors that go into it. "I hired people overseas to do seo for me" that alone tells me you don't know anything about ranking.

        Learn how to properly evaluate completion and how to properly do keyword research.

        Make sure when you search that it is on EXACT mode and not BROAD.

        Make at least 30-50 pages of unique and relevant to do with your keyword.

        Seo can take anywhere between 1-12 months depending on the kw.

          Okay thanks for the input. Yeah I guess I messed up on that one. On broad match it has over 800,000 global monthly searches right now according to keyword tool but with the [ ] it only has 73...

          I will learn to do better research, thanks.

            Hi flyer, we are in the same situation,idk where to get started to earn some good money,anyway, i want earn 10-20$ a day and after that stay with that and earn more.. i hope we will find some kind people who can help us

              I usually aim for keywords that have 5000-10000 EXACT searches p/m. Broad match has no use what-so-ever in evaluating keywords. ALWAYS have it on EXACT match.

              Also, the vast majority of the time I go for a keyword that has a cpc of 3$ and over.

              If people are paying 3$ per click, then you bet your ass your going to be making some decent money if you have a nice converting lander or review.

                Question: How many competing pages do you go for? And you find this by putting in "keyword" into google right? thanks.

    My friend this requires work and effort. Now you have to
    figure out why you have no sales.

    You say you got to the first page of Google so, why do
    people don't visit your site? Maybe the description they see
    in Google is not what they are looking for.

    You have to know why they don't visit your site. Start
    testing until you find the winning approach.

      Hey thanks for the response. I may have quit on that site too early (but now I realize based on what DOWORKSON has said that it doesn't get any search anyways), but I definitely do not give up too early in general.

      I have tried various online and offline deals to make money for the past 5 years and been laughed at by friends so I don't think my persistence is the problem.

      Also, if you read the post I have been doing this campaign for 2 months (more than 21 days). I have tried other times for make money on Clickbank also to no avail.

      So, I don't think my persistence is the problem.

      I just don't know what the heck I'm doing very well.

    try finding a keyword that has around 10,000 Exact keyword searches a month, buy the exact domain .com if it's taken mix the words around or include -.

    Now build your site up to 50 pages with lots of inlinks for easy navigation
    Set up a squidoo and hubpage
    sign up to 100 forums and become part of the community, (leave your link in sig)
    comment on at leat 50 blogs with relevant comments and leave your backlink
    head over to youtube, uplaod and few videos and include your backlink
    submit your site to stumbleupon, digg, twitter, mixx, delicious,

    You should be able to do all this in 7 days - good luck
