Is a $20 Offer Worth it?

I know I am probably impatient, but I am in the first week of marketing my $20 ebook with a limited PPC budget and haven't seen positive results yet. I have a free ebook offer that leads into an autoresponder for a soft sell of the eBook, but just haven't seen much results.

I have to admit, my PPC budget is relatively small. I'll be honest, it's about $5/day. I don't have a TON of money to spend on advertising so I am trying to ration it out.

So is my $20 eBook offer worth it? It is an eBook that I firmly stand behind, and spent a good amount of time on. Should I do something else to beef it up to offer for a higher price? Or is it possible that PPC (I have some good campaigns setup with great keywords) might not be the best route for my niche (which is job seekers).

Any thoughts and comments appreciated...

How many subscribers have you gained? Then how many of those have actually seen your sales page? With $5/day budget, I don't expect record breaking numbers. If you haven't had at least a couple hundred sales page views, you have nothing to worry about yet.

    Hi:

    Shireen here :-)

PPC is one of the marketing method. Maybe you can consider some free methods like submitting articles to ezinearticles.com or start a blog.

Start networking on forums/blogs with other surfers is a good way to start. Comments on blog, pingbacks and forums. A $5 budget is pretty much useless because you need to test/tweak and you don't have enough data.

Try to contact potential partners (owners of other website/blog) and maintain relationship with them. By the way, if anybody want to do a partnership with me, I'm in many niches.

Good unique content + Networking, networking, networking. It's the key to begin fast.

Give some more free autoresponder follow up emails before pitching the product. You need to develop a relationship with the list before you promote the product. Charge more. $20 is too cheap for a product, and since you don't have a huge market, it makes it harder to achieve profits. Atleast $47. If you have to add more value, then put it in there.
