Content Tips for MLMers to Use on Squidoo

Are you a Multi Level Marketing Warrior? If so, and if you're using (or want to use) Squidoo to help you build a better downline, try my content formulas below. Probably a good 50% to 70% of our customers for lens building are network marketers so I've thought about this as we have built so many for this particular target audience.

Build two types of lenses - those that primarily attract an audience for what your offer SELLS (ie: a health product, a travel membership, whatever) and those that primarily discuss the money opportunities.

For the product lenses, and for whatever MLM niche you're in, create an introduction module and at least 2 text modules addressing the product itself. Here are some common examples we see:

1.) Health niche: Introduction should empathize with their health woes - sluggishness, overweight, etc. Text module #1 should offer hope - they don't have to live like this, many people have recovered, etc. Text module #2 should provide solution - here's how to make it all better.

2.) Travel membership niche: Introduction about saving money on travel. Text module #1 about valuable money-saving tips for travelers. Text module #2 about an even better solution - a travel package membership.

3.) WMI: Introduction about Getting Out of Debt Before You Build Wealth. Text module #1 should be a certain number of get out of debt tips. Text module #2 should be a perfect solution - use WMI to learn how to get out of debt and build wealth, advancing your knowledge with each step of the program.

For each of the above, include a featured lens module that has a title that says, "You can even MAKE money with this product!" (And then send them to the business opportunity lens).

For your business opportunity lenses, focus on this formula:

1.) Introduction that welcomes them and talks about THEM not you. Relay to them that you know what they're looking for - an opportunity where you get hand holding, not abandonment, where the profits are limitless, and where they believe in what they're promoting.

2.) Text module discussing the business model of the opportunity. What does it come with, what makes it unique?

3.) Text module discussing why they can feel confident in this product niche. "Health is an evergreen problem where people are seeking solutions." You might even give search engine statistics on how many people search for this solution each day, etc.

4.) Text module discussing your story. You have to build trust. Why should they be a part of your downline compared to Joe Schmo? Be real - not a greasy used car salesman cliché. What will you provide to them? Will you give them a free course so they can build their own downline?

On these "two types" of lenses I talk about above, make sure you cross promote the other using the Featured Lens modules.

Good modules to add to these lenses in the future:

For business opportunity lenses, teach things like How to Build a Downline. Whatever common questions new network marketers have, add those below the above content modules I discussed.

For the product lenses, get into some more detail. If you're promoting a health product with **** Berries in it, then keep an eye on the news and add modules that continually discuss the specific health benefits. Watch your stats and see how your lens is being found and make modules that address those keyword phrases.

I hope this helps!

Remember to provide good value on your lenses. You don't want it to be all sales pitch and no meat. It'll just leave your visitor hungry for information that they'll go get from your competitor!
