What am I doing wrong?

by jestershaw 8 replies
Hello fellow Warriors. I have a website that has been getting a ton of hits and I still haven't sold a thing.

I would love some feedback from my fellow warriors.

gptriches.com is the website.

I have done some advertising and even have some ads on google and bidvertiser. I have had a ton of hits.

Is it the design or the message that is keeping people from buying?

I figured this would be the place to ask this question.

Thanks
Shawn

    Hi Shawn,

I had a quick look and here are my thoughts...

    1. I was ready to click off the page as soon as I could NOT find the price. I did figure that out AFTER clicking the buy link, but most would not.

    2. No graphics to grab my attention. Invest here on the forum for a cool ebook cover at the least, header, footer and buy now button would be better. Graphics gives the impression of a quality product and at this price, you need to convey quality.

    3. No testimonials. Social support is HUGE for many buyers. Get some people to review your product (for free) and then get their testimonials.

    Hope that helps.

    Hey Shawn,
I'm no super guru here but I'll give you my 2 cents. I don't think your copy is exciting. There's no social proof - testimonials. And finally no opt-in.
    Hope that helps?

      Hello Shawn,

I don't have any advice... Writing sales copy is an art. And although I won't go into any more detail at this time... My current WSO that you see in the sig file below is converting at over 5% off the Sales Letter.

Maybe there are a few ideas for you there.

      Cheers,

      Rob

        hi shawn,
i saw your page and my advice is to improve the visual impact of your site. it is not as effective as the majority of the existing sites. and also, try to improve your sales page, it is not persuasive at all. focus on copywriting. it can definitely give success to your page. hope it helps.

      Hi Shawn,

All of the above, plus as well as being no social proof in the form of testimonials etc, there's no proof on display that it does what you claim. You'll need some of that.

      Also, the headline isn't great.

You may want to post it in the copywriting forum to see if you can get some other copywriters to share their views with you...

      Hope that's useful

you might want to break apart your copy so it is easier to read.

      Nothing about the price.

Also if you are getting a lot of traffic and this traffic is not interested in this offer maybe if you generate a list you could cultivate them another way.
