Traffic to a Redirect
Hey Warriors,
So me and a few friends were having a heated debate last night. I think we all had a few too many drinks, and then we had some more, anyway the argument went on for about 2 1/2 hours before we all had to part ways.
Even this morning in my first meeting of the day I got a text from one of them still debating his side!! :p
Either way I would like to continue that debate here and see what other sides there are.
So, in a nutshell the argument was over how to drive traffic to a redirected affiliate link.
One argument was to get a free web 2.0 platform and direct it to the affiliate link. Then drive traffic via PPC.
Another was to buy a cheap .info and redirect then drive traffic via article marketing. Blasting hundreds of articles out there.
Yet another argument was to direct to a squeeze page and once they sign up redirect to the affiliate link. Then drive traffic via videos and social sites.
Now my personal argument was to do a mixture minus the PPC and web 2.0 platform. I am sure it's possible but to me seems shotty. And that made my friend pretty mad. He swears by cheap PPC to make thousands quickly.
So I'm curious as to what others have to input on this, as I continue our argument through texts and emails
